Nestled away in the heights of Verbier, Chalet Nyumba can sleep up to 14 people and provides the ultimate luxury experience. A 550m² property, designed with family in mind, it is an idyllic mountain retreat with wonderful spa facilities, excellent views and a great choice of entertainment facilities.
Chalet Nyumba's open-plan living room oozes a natural charm and character throughout. A sense of immense grandeur is felt in this space, owing to high ceilings, an exposed stone fireplace and classic alpine wooden cladding. Modern furnishings and a mixture of alpine and African artwork also feature to add a unique personality to the otherwise rustic interiors found in here. After a day on Verbier's slopes, the large, elegant sofas invite you to unwind, meticulously positioned next to the fireplace and before the glamorous mountain scenery stretched across the colossal sliding doors. On the other side of the living area lies a wooden dining table that also takes advantage of the elevated, panoramic views. Behind this, a fully-equipped kitchen can be closed by curtain, to enable the delectable meals to be prepared by your very own private chef in privacy.
When your full day of skiing is over, you will have several ways to enjoy your evening. Outside, Chalet Nyumba has ample outdoor space, including welcoming south-facing terraces and balconies, each making the most of the elevated spot of the chalet. The first element of Chalet Nyumba's wellness facilities is found here, the tempting outdoor Jacuzzi. Back indoors, Chalet Nyumba hosts a beautiful spa area. In this space there is an indoor swimming pool, allowing the kids to have a swim and let off some steam, whilst the adults can relax in the indoor hot tub or sauna or steam room. The spa is fully equipped for your comfort, with a fireplace, cold plunge pool and massage treatment room to further dive into wellness and rejuvenation. A home cinema is also included for ultimate family entertainment and a games room with Pool table and kids toys. Overall, Chalet Nyumba has been designed for endless enjoyment for those family evenings at the chalet.
Chalet Nyumba offers seven bedrooms split over all levels and corners of the chalet to give all family members or friends their own corner of calming space to retreat to. The first bedroom is on the ground floor, a twin bedroom with separate shower room adjoining the cinema lounge. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and one with terrace access, as well as a children's dorm with a double bunk and three children's beds overhead (sleeping max 5) and en-suite bathroom. In the left wing, on the second floor, a private staircase leads to a self-contained suite which features a double bed, a mezzanine level with two further children's beds, a small kitchenette and dining table and large balcony. The last bedroom is the Master, found on the top level of the chalet above the living area, this is a stunning space with double bed, fireplace, private balcony, office space and en-suite with bath and shower. Each of the bedrooms, is rustic in style with plenty of natural materials and exposed wood, a true chalet feel is present in every suite!
For convenience, the chalet offers a large garage and ski room with boot warmers.
A proportion of the holiday price goes to the UK-registered “Give a Future Foundation”, which supports a variety of education projects for orphans and vulnerable children in Ethiopia.
Price based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests to include full gourmet catering, open bar and 24 hour in-resort driver service.
Up to two extra guests can be accommodated at a supplement of CHF 750 per person/per week.
Chalet Nyumba nestles in the exclusive Sonalon enclave in the heights of Verbier. As one of the highest chalets in Verbier, this incredible chalet offers glorious views over the village and wide stretching mountain panoramas. It is the ideal spot for groups that want to escape the main hub of activity in the village for a more tranquil position while still being able to reach the local amenities with ease.
A five-minute drive back down the hillside will take you to the nearest ski lift, Savolyeres, or the Carrefour restaurant, sitting on the edge of Le Rouge piste, where you can easily start your ski day from. The main village centre and Médran ski lift sit further down the hill still, just an 8-minute drive away, which can be reached with your own 24-hour driver service. In the centre you'll find a quality selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Specially selected ground coffee, along with an espresso machine and freshly squeezed orange juice, will further add to the fuel for long ski sessions.
Upon return from skiing, daily afternoon tea, consisting of homemade cakes and cookies, will help you reenergise back at your Verbier chalet. In the evening, there are pre-dinner canapés served with drinks, before indulging on your private chef’s dinners. Served on 5 nights, fabulous four-course evening meals will help to replenish ski appetites. Early children’s dinners can be served upon request. Evening meals are perfectly accompanied by a premium selection of Champagnes, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks, also included in your chalet package.
