The Portes du Soleil is both a ski and snowboarding haven. Boasting 650km’s of piste starting from shallow beginner runs, to well-kept snow parks, a permanent half pipe, as well as some of the most challenging downhill slopes in the Alps. There really is something for everyone.

For many, a ski holiday is THE big event on the calendar and is the much awaited trip of the year. However, after a recent short luxury ski break to Morzine myself, my views on ski planning being a massive mountain of effort have changed completely. The ski season is nearing the end, albeit very reluctantly. The continuing snowfall and cooler temperatures has made this one of the longest seasons in years gone by. Summer is, however, lurking just around the corner and so it’s time to start thinking about your summer holiday in the Alps. The French resort of Les Gets is rapidly growing into one of the leading luxury ski resorts in the Northern French Alps. Why is that?
