The Property

Chalet Lumina, formerly one of the original old ‘fermes' of Morzine, offers a ski holiday with an attractive mix of the contemporary and the authentic, perfect for a self-catered ski holiday in Morzine. Located on the sunny side of the town, it sits overlooking Morzine with stunning views of Pleney and the surrounding mountains, bathed in sunshine until the sun sets behind the Roc D'Enfer.

After a long day on the slopes, relax in Chalet Luminas's airy open-plan living area, occupying the whole of the first floor. Wide bi-fold doors offer direct access onto the surrounding balcony, and flood the living room with light whilst framing the stunning mountains opposite. The sitting room features a large soft seating area oriented around the wood-burning fire, with ample sofa space for everyone. This leads into the double-height dining space, which is overlooked by a mezzanine – a TV snug perfect for the kids to lounge about in. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, and boasts a breakfast and and drinks corner. It has everything needed to whip up delicious family meals, whilst maintaining a sociable atmosphere.

For your post-ski relaxation, retreat to the outdoor hot tub located on Chalet Lumina's gorgeous terrace. On warmer days it's a stunning spot for sunbathing and enjoying the panoramic views.

In total, Chalet Lumina sleeps up to 12 guests across five large en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom can be configured as king-size double or twin , offering a suitable option for mixed or corporate groups. The bedrooms are spread across three floors, with three bedrooms located on the ground floor, and one on the first floor, all of which feature en-suite shower facilities. The final master bedroom, found on the chalet's top floor, benefits from a king-size double/twin bed, en-suite bathroom and two additional sofa beds (sleeping 2 children), making this chalet perfect for a luxury family ski holiday in Morzine.

For additional convenience, Chalet Lumina also features a private garage, and ski and boot room.

For larger groups, a separate self-contained mini-chalet, Petit Lumina, can be added to sleep an extra 2-4 guests. Ideal for extended family ski holidays, it offers privacy whilst also being in close distance to the main chalet. Please enquire if this is more suited to your group's requirements.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis. An additional 2 guests can stay in the chalet for a supplement, please enquire.

It is possible to book with the adjoining annexe, Petit Lumina for an extra 2–4 guests, please enquire for rate.

An enhanced self-catered package to include morning bread and pastry delivery and 3/5 evenings of pre-cooked meals & complimentary selected wines delivered to the chalet can be arranged. Please enquire.

With an active effort to be an eco-friendly operation, this chalet proposes a carbon neutrally transport contribution of €9 EUR per person. This goes to Foundation GoodPlanet to invest in offset projects. This will be added to your booking, but it is a voluntary contribution and so you are able to opt out if you prefer.
