The Property
Chalet Les Tissourds is a wonderful Maison de Pays, beautifully restored and refurbished in 2009, a self-catered chalet in a class of its own. Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 5 - 10 minute stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants. Situated in a quiet road there are wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley.
A modern design within a traditional setting, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new. The interior is impressive, with the hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout - contemporary Chamonix chic.
On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen and living room, plus a boot room with boot warmers. On the lower ground floor there is a cosy snug with sofas, beanbags and a 130cm screen, there you can chill out with some DVDs. Next door is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Take a plunge in the new outdoor hot tub, offering stunning views of Mont Blanc.
Prices are for exclusive occupancy of the chalet on a self catered basis without travel.
Location
Just 5 minutes on foot to Aiguille du Midi cable car and 5-10 minutes to the town centre. By car, the lifts of Brevent are just a few minutes drive.

*An additional single bed can also be added to the dining room on the ground floor. When this room is used as a bedroom, the dining table can be moved into the living area.
