The Property
The Carlton Penthouse, exclusively designed by Swiss Interior Designer Carlo Rampazzi, is located on the top floor of the Carlton St Moritz hotel and spreads over 386m² overlooking the frozen lake, the Engadine mountains and village of St. Moritz. The Penthouse has a maximum capacity of 6 guests spread out over 3 bedrooms.
The spacious living area is 95m² and integrated into this space are various seating areas as well as a dining room and a study complete with library. There is a large kitchen with state-of-the-art technology, with the kitchen team of the Carlton Hotel available to cook a private dinner on request. The Carlton Penthouse boasts five different terraces and balconies covering a 360° panoramic view of the Lake St. Moritz and the Swiss Alps.
The Carlton Penthouse offers three spacious and light-filled bedrooms with adjoining marble bathrooms, each with their own bathtub and rain shower. They are decked out in a classic style with wood furnishings and neutral colours, providing that classic Alpine feel as you enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from the windows and balconies.
There is a luxury Private Spa Suite at the Carlton Spa exclusive for the penthouse guests to use throughout their stay, with its own whirlpool, sauna, Dornbracht-Rainsky shower with light therapy, and other relaxation and treatment options.
Guests residing at the Carlton Penthouse will also have full access to the rest of the award-winning Carlton spa with its 1200m² of luxury spread out over three floors including an indoor and outdoor pool, hair salon and fitness centre. Located on the lowermost floor is the spacious sauna area with steam bath, caldarium, Finnish sauna and a separate ladies’ sauna. To cool off after an invigorating sauna session, there is a whole range of different hydro-massage showers.
Within the hotel, there are two restaurants to enjoy culinary delights of the highest standards. The restaurant Romanoff on the historic Bel Etage offers modern takes on the world's finest food in elegant surroundings, while the excellent Two-star Michelin restaurant Da Vittorio - St. Moritz serves authentic Italian cuisine at its best in a casual atmosphere, which takes you on a culinary journey to Lombardy. The Carlton Bar and Lobby with its large sun terrace is the perfect spot to relax and unwind – whether it be lunch with delicious specialities from the grill, a traditional afternoon tea or a glass of sparkling champagne in the evening.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the Penthouse for up to six guests. Services include a daily breakfast buffet, food and drink credit of up to CHF 100 per guest per day, spa, butler service, 24 hours limousine, ski shuttle to Coviglia ski station and concierge services. Arrival/Departure transfers are complimentary from St Moritz Station & Samedan Airport.
Location
The Carlton Penthouse forms part of the Carlton Hotel St Moritz, located via Johannes Badrutt in the very heart of the resort, offering stunning views of the lake. The village centre can be reached in a 12 minute walk or 2-minute drive. Here, there is a luxury selection of the most exclusive boutiques, shops and restaurants.
The Corviglia ski station is just a short 2 minute shuttle from the hotel to allow you to be on the sunny pistes in no time.
For guests arriving by private jet, the Samedan St Moritz private airport is a 10 minute car journey away.

Dine at the Carlton Hotel's two Michelin-starred restaurant from Wednesday to Sunday, 7pm to 10pm. The authentic Italian dishes have also earned 18 Gault Millau Points.
Restaurant Romanoff
Experience modern twists on some of the world's finest food, along with delicious plant-based alternatives that have been created with the help of a renowned nutritionist. Open daily for breakfast (7am-11am) and dinner (7pm to 10pm).
Carlton Bar & Bel Etage with Sun Terrace
Open daily, this chic bar is the beating heart of the Carlton Hotel, a perfect spot for some afternoon tea (1pm to 6pm), or to enjoy a cosy drink as you watch the snowy landscape outside. Live music plays from 3pm onwards. Experience some of the best views in St. Moritz for lunch (12pm-3pm) on the Sun Terrace, overlooking mountain panoramas and a beautiful lake vista.
Fondue Gondola
Located outside the front of the hotel, the gondolas await for a delicious cheese fondue for two to four people, open for both lunchtime (12pm to 3pm) and dinner (6pm to 10pm) experiences.
Food & Drink
Every day each guest will receive a food and beverage voucher worth CHF100. This credit can be redeemed in all the hotel's restaurants, as well as for 24 hour room service. It cannot be transferred or paid out, and the credit expires at the end of each day.
Carlton Spa
This 1,200m² spa, set over three floors, has a wealth of excellent facilities for guests to use, from indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms, a 24/7 fitness centre, a number of treatment rooms and a hairstylist.
