The Property
High 7 Penthouse is a spacious 235m² duplex penthouse accommodating 8 guests across its 4 bedrooms. Located on the second and third floor of the chalet building, High 7 Penthouse fuses contemporary and classical Alpine design throughout its open living spaces, all in view of the iconic Matterhorn mountain. Situated amongst peace and tranquillity, and benefitting from ski in ski out access, High 7 Penthouse is the perfect setting for your next luxury ski holiday in Zermatt.
High 7 Penthouse's top floor is home to the open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas. A magnificent window wall provides a perfect snapshot of your snowy Alpine surroundings outside, in addition to filling the room with an abundance of natural light. The sumptuous sofa corner and wooden dining table, which can comfortably seat 8 guests, are in prime position to look out to the mountain views, and also warm to the 360 degree open fire found in the middle of the floor. A full-equipped kitchen, towards the back of the living space, is open to the dining area. Complete with a breakfast bar, the kitchen will enable any avid cooks in the group to pick up some tips from your private chalet chef, as gourmet evening meal preparations commence. On the chalet staff's night off, trial your newfound skills to cook for the rest of the group, or head to one of the best bars and restaurants in Zermatt.
Step out onto High 7 Penthouse's spacious terrace area, when warmer temperatures allow, to absorb the mountain landscape surrounding you. Furniture outside will let you enjoy a seat with glass of something nice, as the famous Matterhorn mountain stands tall in the background.
For post-ski relaxation, High 7 Penthouse's wellness area will aid your rest and recovery needs. Located on the top floor, guests will find a large relaxation bath and bio sauna to ease any tired ski legs, which can be accessed from the communal area or privately from the master bedroom.
In total, High 7 Penthouse sleeps 8 guests across 4 double en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has been decorated in different designs to cater to everyone's tastes, yet still maintain the luxury interiors found throughout the rest of the penthouse. Three bedrooms occupy the lower floor, two of which have the added benefit of Matterhorn views and a balcony to thoroughly enjoy these from. The master bedroom is situated on the upper floor, complete with an en-suite shower room and access to the wellness area.
There is an internal lift in High 7 Penthouse, suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Prices are for exclusive use of the chalet to include full gourmet catering an open drinks bar and an arrival transfer from Zermatt train station. No travel included.
Location
High 7 Penthouse is located in Zermatt's residential corner, Winkelmatten. Benefitting from ski in, ski out access, means that guests staying at High 7 Penthouse can ski from the property, through the meadow, and down to the Klein Matterhorn Express Lift. On your return from a day's skiing in Zermatt, guests can use the Moosweg ski-run to ski right back to the door of the chalet.
Zermatt centre is approximately 4 minutes away by electric car, or a 15-minute walk away, where guests will be able to enjoy the village's charm and choice of restaurants, bars and shops. There are a selection of appetising bars and restaurants which feature along this walk, meaning there are a lot of options in a closer distance to the property.
For ease of access around this pedestrianised ski resort, guests will be able to find the closest bus stop just a 2-minute walk away. In addition, the Findelbach train station is just 350 metres away (approximately 5 minutes on foot).

As dedicated, hand-picked professionals this operator and its team are on call to assist you with your holiday requirements.
They can organise restaurant bookings, ski passes, ski school, Spa treatments, a paragliding flight or a shopping trip to Milan, much of this can be done prior to your arrival. They will visit the chalets and apartments during the week to deliver up to date weather reports and ensure your needs are met.
They will meet you on your arrival in resort and escort you to your chalet, they will then accompany you to the ski hire shop to assist with ski and boot fitting.
Their highly qualified chefs will provide breakfast and afternoon tea on 5 days per week, and a 3/4 course gourmet evening meal five out of seven nights. They are ably assisted by a chalet host who will serve tea or coffee in bed, help with breakfast and service the chalet daily. On the chef day off and on departure day a generous continental breakfast will be provided for guests.
Breakfast can be whatever you wish from omelette, pancakes, fresh fruit smoothies, pastries, cold meats, cheeses to a full English breakfast, hot options are cooked to order each morning. Afternoon tea tends to be a mixture of home made delights, biscuits and cakes feature daily.
After an enjoyable day on the mountain, the staff are on hand to serve you aperitifs and canapés followed by a delectable four course evening meal served with carefully selected wines.
They also offer an evening turn-down service while you enjoy a digestif by the fire.
