The Property

Chalet Castor is a luxury chalet for 8 guests, a great base for your next luxury summer holiday in Zermatt. Set over three floors, the chalet offers its guests a great location just a short walk to the lifts and town, with tremendous views over the resort and some enjoyable outside space to take advantage of the summer sun.

The ground floor level of Chalet Castor is home to the chalet's living area, a cosy open-plan space where you will find the lounge, dining and kitchen all in one room. An exposed stone wall, sleek wooden flooring and modern furnishings exemplify the luxury mountain home aesthetic, with a wood-burning fireplace to top it all off. There is ample space for all guests of the chalet to relax in the lounge or dine together at the dinner table, with a fully-equipped kitchen also featuring plenty of work space to prepare any meals, for nights when you aren't exploring the town and indulging at the best restaurants in Zermatt.

Sliding glass doors lead out onto Chalet Castor's terrace, where you can appreciate the chalet's elevated position in all its luxury. Spectacular views look over this splendid Swiss resort and down the valley, flanked by majestic mountain peaks that rise above 4,000m. There's some patio furniture to enjoy an afternoon drink around or you can soak into the bubbling waters of the outdoor hot tub, a luxurious addition to the outdoor space of Chalet Castor.

There are four double bedrooms in Chalet Castor, spread evenly between the first and second floors. The bedrooms have a more traditional style, typical of many Swiss and Austrian chalets, with patterned pillows and curtains that accentuate the alpine ambience. Each room benefits from a private balcony and en-suite bath or shower room, with all rooms providing the flexibility of also being taken as twin rooms.

The chalet comes with private laundry facilities, located on its ground floor level.

For larger groups or corporate trips to Zermatt, the chalet can be taken alongside the neighbouring Chalet Pollux (sleeps 8), Chalet Ibron (sleeps 8), and Chalet Gemini (sleeps 10). This allows varying group sizes of up to 34 guests to stay close together on a luxury summer holiday in Zermatt.

Price is for exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and is offered on a self catered basis only.

Please note, due to Chalet Castor's steep hillside location, there is a long flight of external stairs to access the property. This should be considered if you are travelling with less abled guests.
