The luxury apartment occupies the entirety of the top floor of its building, with the open-plan living spaces located at the end that maximises the views of the Matterhorn. Light alpine woods and traditional furnishings provide an authentic alpine vibe. There is an abundance of seating in Zermatt Lodge's main living space, from leather sofas by the windows to a cosy alcove beneath the skylight. The focal point of the living area, however, is the toadstool wooden seating area that surround the traditional log burner in the centre of the room. A formal dining space for up to 12 guests, adjoined to a fully-equipped contemporary kitchen, can also be found in this free-flowing room.
Spanning the width of the penthouse, Zermatt Lodge features a balcony that provides an incredible view across the resort and towards the Matterhorn beyond. There is an outdoor hot tub in the corner of this balcony, in a sheltered, covered area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day of experiencing Zermatt in summer. Zermatt Lodge also offers a sauna inside, as an additional spot for indulgent relaxation and wellness.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, Zermatt Lodge features five spacious double bedrooms, where traditional decor and authentic wooden features help create a homely mountain lodge vibe. The Master bedroom enjoys its own fireplace and direct access to the balcony with hot tub. The other four double bedrooms share a balcony on the opposite side of the property, with all four offering the flexibility of double or twin beds. Every bedroom is completed by a well-appointed en-suite bath or shower room.
Zermatt Lodge has laundry facilities within the apartment. For ease of access to the penthouse level, the apartment has the convenience of elevator access.

Zermatt Lodge is a luxury penthouse apartment in Zermatt, located a short distance from the train station and main high street, with a wonderful view over resort towards the Matterhorn.
A 7-minute walk will take you from the apartment to the train station, across from which you will find the station to the Gornergrat mountain railway. This railway takes you up to the top of the Gornergrat, with access to the observatory and a number of hiking trails. The Sunnegga funicular is about 9-minutes walk from the penthouse. Across the other side of the resort, about 25-minutes walk or 5 minutes in an electro taxi, the Klein Matterhorn Express gondola will take you to the Theodul Glacier and the activities at the top of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, with connections over to Cervinia.
The train station is also the bottom of Zermatt's main high street, running through the centre of the resort. Along here you will find a fantastic selection of restaurants, including some with Michelin Stars. There are also many great bars and shopping to be found in Zermatt.
