Pralong (Blue/Green)
Pralong is a blue/green run in Courchevel 1850. It is located above the resort, running beneath the Pralong chairlift and past the famous altiport of Courchevel 1850. Courchevel Altiport has one of the shortest runways in the world, sloping downwards for a markedly breathtaking take-off and landing. The Pralong is a blue run for its top section from the chairlift. Further down, it becomes a gentler green as it passes the altiport. Due to it’s positioning above the resort, there are few ski in ski out chalets in Courchevel on the Pralong. But the few properties that are located there are certainly special.

If you take the left fork onto the green Bellecôte piste, then you come to a gentle and enchanting run between an alpine forest and charming traditional chalets. The piste goes from the top of the resort down to La Croisette in the centre. From the top of the Jardin Alpin gondola, you can also access the piste. Cospillot (Blue)
Unless you stick high and to the left when heading down the Pralong piste, you naturally funnel down towards the right fork where the piste splits. This leads you onto the blue Cospillot piste. This long blue run in Courchevel 1850 skirts the far edge of the resort. Ultimately, it joins up much lower down than La Croisette with the blue Tovets piste, leading you to Courchevel Village. Welcoming to groups of all ages, the hotel also features games and playrooms. In addition, it boasts a multipurpose space that can be set up as a cinema, bar, or nightclub!
Le K2 Palace – Chalet Suite K3
For a more intimate stay for groups of 6, although still immersed in luxury, the hotel offers 6 smaller “chalet suites”. Le K2 Palace – Chalet Suite K3 is 268m² of regal elegance and comes on a Bed and Breakfast basis. Chalet Suite K3, and additionally Chalet Suites K4-K8, provide a fabulous option for smaller groups seeking the privacy of their own chalet. La Croisette
La Croisette is not technically a piste, but rather the main snow front in Courchevel 1850. It is the primary location for ski school meeting points. It’s also the essential spot where most people begin their day, with the Jardin Alpin, Verdons and Chenus gondolas delivering you further up the mountain. As previously mentioned, it is also the final destination of the green Bellecôte and Jardin Alpin runs, two of the main ski in ski out pistes in Courchevel 1850.

Emerald Apartment
Of the 9 apartments on offer at Grandes Alpes Hotel, the Emerald Apartment is the largest. Ideal for a family group, the immense 300m² property occupies the entirety of the hotel’s fourth floor. The ski-in/ski-out apartment contains a Hammam, massage room, south-facing balconies, three doubles and one children’s bedroom, all explicitly for your convenience. Of course, any of the other 8 apartments are worth considering. Ranging in size from 142m² to 210m², each one gleams with luxury like the precious minerals for which they are named after.
Dou du Midi (Red)
A red run in Courchevel 1850, the Dou du Midi piste is a fantastic slope. It begins near the peak of Chenus mountain, running past the resort and all the way down to Courchevel Village. The Dou du Midi is more open than many of the other ski-in, ski-out pistes in Courchevel 1850, which tend to be enclosed by trees. This slope particularly gives intermediates and experts a chance to fly. There’s plenty of room to get some good turns in and race down at exhilarating speeds.
