Flying Moose Chalet is your quintessential Canadian luxury lodge, an impressive, spacious property that can sleep up to 17 guests across 8 stylish bedrooms. Situated in the snowy paradise of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Flying Moose Chalet offers world-class skiing with brilliant services and a spectacular list of chalet features, including spa facilities, a climbing wall and even a helipad.
Encapsulating a stunning 9,000 square feet (836m²), Flying Moose Chalet's charming timber exterior hides away an interior design that expertly blends traditional stone and wood features with sumptuous furnishings. The middle of the chalet's three floors features your main living space, where a spacious lounge with stone-covered, double-sided fireplace sits beneath a double-height vaulted ceiling. The lounge sits in an open-plan space adjacent with the expertly equipped professional kitchen, where you will find casual dining space around the large central kitchen island. The opposite side of the kitchen, Flying Moose Chalet hosts a stylish formal dining area, seating 12 guests. From the lounge and dining areas extends a spacious, sheltered balcony, where you will find a BBQ and space for alfresco dining. Off the ground floor, the chalet enjoys an even more spacious terrace area.
The terrace of Flying Moose Chalet is home to some of the chalet's spellbinding spa facilities. You can opt to relax within the soothing bubbles of a hot tub, or alternatively use the swim-spa with counter-current feature for more of a workout. Outside, you will also find a sauna, whilst inside the chalet there is a steam room and massage areas, perfect for your 4 hours of daily massages included with the chalet. The property also features some gym facilities.
In addition to the wonderful spa facilities, Flying Moose Chalet is adeptly set up for all your entertainment needs. A stylish, modern TV room is found on the ground floor, while the top level features an upper lounge area that functions as a games room. With its chic bar area, table tennis and shuffleboard, this is the perfect space to unwind in on return from skiing in Revelstoke. Additionally, the chalet has two automatic belays rigged up outside for a devilish climbing wall on the chalet's exterior.
Flying Moose Chalet can accommodate a maximum of 17 guests, spread across 8 spacious bedrooms that offer a mix of sleeping arrangements. The bedrooms are roomy with an authentic chalet style and contemporary furnishings. The lavish Master suite is found on the chalet's middle floor, while the lower level houses three bedrooms that contain additional beds, ideal for families or children. All bedrooms come en-suite and most offer direct balcony or terrace access.
Flying Moose Chalet features an exceptionally large ski room with boot warmers and lounge seating. The ski room leads out towards the giant helipad, an ideal feature for heliskiing in Revelstoke. There are up to 4 spaces available for parking outside and laundry facilities in the chalet.
For large groups wishing to be close to each other, Flying Moose Chalet neighbours with Bighorn Revelstoke (sleeps 16).
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered with full-chalet catering, private shuttle service, 4 hours of complimentary massage per day and selected complimentary drinks. Prices do not include taxes of 16%, which will be calculated on top of the advertised rates.
Up to 5 additional guests can be accommodated for a supplement of CA$450 per person, per night, plus taxes of 16%.
Location
Flying Moose Chalet sits in a prime position, located just a stone's throw from the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR), and the house vehicle will drop guests at the slopes and pick them up whenever they need. The journey takes 2 minute. Here, you will find the gondola station taking you up into the vast ski area. At the end of the day, there's a choice of beginner and intermediate runs to make their way back to the resort.
Within the RMR resort, there is a small handful of restaurants as well as ski rental shops. For a wider choice of shops and restaurants, then head to the vibrant Downtown Revelstoke, just 5 minutes drive away, where there are plenty of retail therapy choices as well as après pit stops. There is a complimentary shuttle offered by the chalet team until 11pm.
The chalet is also just a few minutes drive from the Revelstoke Airport, for those arriving into Revelstoke directly.
