Description

The Arlberg is one of Nature’s crown jewels and each of the five villages - Lech, Zürs, St. Anton, St. Christoph and Stuben – has its own unique character and charm. Free ski buses run within and between the towns. Sunny terraces invite you to enjoy an après ski, a wide range of activities such as ice skating, curling, ice carting, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking and horse-drawn carriage rides make the winter vacation an experience for the entire family.

Lech and Zurs are two of the best loved winter sports resorts in the world. Boasting a vast skiing domain that lies between 1400 and 2450 metres altitude, here guests can literally breathe the quality and enjoy a resort frequented by Royalty and high society year after year.

Zurs is a small and refined resort, at an altitude of 1,716m so offering high altitude ski access and fantastic snow conditions throughout the season.

276 km of prepared slopes and 180 km of deep off piste skiing, directly reach the doors of homelike pensions and classy hotels. 85 ski lifts (many of them equipped with the seat-heating invented in Arlberg), 25 ski conveyor belts in the children's and beginner's areas, highly trained winter sports instructors at 4 ski schools who transport the guests to the most beautiful slopes of all difficulties – this ski resort has something for everyone.

Zürs is widely known as the Mecca of Alpine powder snow skiing and is home to one of the most celebrated and best ski schools in the world. The Zürs ski school offers personal attention with private instructors or group tuition, from beginners' courses to heliskiing. And children are looked after well during skiing lessons or in the "Little Zürs" nursery.

Personal service and hospitality are traditional in Zürs. The top-class hotels and restaurants, renowned throughout the world, have been a trademark of Zürs for many years.

Snowboarders will find a fun park in Lech/Schlegelkopf with many safe mini-kickers for children, the best triple kicker line in the Alps for advanced snowboarders, and also a 6 rail rail-line with large wall ride. In addition the guest can choose between permanent race courses, one floodlit toboggan run, approx. 30 km of romantic winter hiking trails, approx. 20 km of cross country trails or sleighs that are at the guests’ disposal in the village for enchanting tours through the “winter wonderland” around Lech and Zürs.
