Description

Revelstoke Mountain Resort boasts North America's greatest vertical at 1,713 metres (5,620 ft). The resort also offers 3,121 acres of fall line skiing, high alpine bowls, 13 areas of gladed terrain and phenomenal groomed terrain. Revelstoke Mountain Resort is also the only resort world-wide to offer lift, cat, heli and backcountry skiing from one village base.

The brand new lift system opens up the whole mountain, so gladed trees, powder-filled bowls and miles of groomed pistes are yours to explore. With an average annual snowfall of 12-18 metres, Revelstoke is blessed with an abundance of champagne powder snow. There are also excellent facilities for beginners and intermediates with a magic carpet lift at the base and mid-mountain and long, winding blue runs right from the peak.

“Skiing in knee-deep fluffy powder down a run called North Bowl that seemed to last forever, I saw the future of skiing and I liked what I saw. Is this the best skiing on earth? I think so” Sunday Telegraph.

Guests of the chalets we feature in the resort can also fly into one of the worlds’ most famous heliskiing territories from their private helipad. Once you experience skiing through wide open glaciers, alpine meadows and massive old-growth forests, you will understand why the heliskiing tenure accessible from Revelstoke is like no other. The Selkirk and Monashee Mountains are renowned for their reliable powder snow and epic terrain features. The world’s best tree skiing is found near Revelstoke: a culmination of unique climate, tree species and consistent heavy snowfalls.

The biggest bonus is that with Revelstoke Mountain Resort on the doorstep, when helicopters can’t fly because of bad weather, you can still enjoy first class skiing.

Apres-Ski

Revelstoke is a still a local's town at night with very little in the way of nightlife. Many of the skiers who visit are here to heli-ski and tend to stick to their hotel bars after dinner. If you do want to venture out, try the River City Pub in the Regent Inn or the local's favourite, Grizzly's Sports Bar which has two pool tables and sports channels on TV showing major sporting events.

Dining in Revelstoke Mountain Resort

“Rockford Wok, Bar and Grill” offers "wok inspired" snack and share plates and entrees, flavourful pastas and traditional west coast entrees.

”Wino” is the new wine bar in town with wines from across BC and tasty nibbles and light bites.

”La Baguette” serves a variety of food and both hot and cold beverages including: fresh baked breads and pastries, sandwiches, wraps, paninis, salads, specialty brewed coffees, an assortment of teas, fruit smoothies and juices.

The stunning post-and-beam “Mid-Mountain Lodge” features a cafeteria-style restaurant with an espresso bar and deck with a barbeque. Burgers, pasta, chilli and more.
