Originally the private family home of none other than the 'father of modern skiing' Hannes Schneider, this stunning chalet brings a rich and fascinating history and charm to the village. Recently renovated into a stylish chalet townhouse combining traditional Alpine styles and contemporary design.
The entrance to the chalet brings you into the open plan living and dining room where you are welcomed by a roaring wood fire offset against the vintage wood panelling. You will find beautiful glassware, impressive artwork from numerous artists and stunning lighting throughout the living room and hallway. The open plan living area also includes a fully-equipped open Gaggenau kitchen and comfortable dining seating for up to 16 guests. On this floor, you will also find the cinema room with a play area for the children.
Three of the bedrooms are up on the first floor, each complete with an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and one benefits from a separate study area. The second floor almost mirrors the first, with three bedrooms in the same layout. The one difference being that one bedroom also has access via a staircase to the gallery level, a mezzanine bedroom that can sleep two in twin beds.
The spa area, complete with hot tub and sauna is located on the lower ground floor. There is also a ski and boot room and a twin en-suite bedroom, ideal for a nanny or teenagers.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a self catered basis with daily cleaning. End of stay cleaning is a mandatory service and charged at a supplement of €250.
Located approximately 15 minutes drive away from Zurs, in the charming village of Stuben, you will find this unique luxury chalet, with ski access to neighbouring resorts of St Anton and St Christoph via the Albona lift which is just a 2 minute walk from the chalet.
