The Property

Chalet Castor is a gorgeous traditional chalet that has been lovingly renovated to the highest standard, with its large bay windows. This unique property is one of the few chalets in the valley with a stone slab roof. The property has four bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 guests in total.

Chalet Castor perfectly blends charms from a traditional Alpine chalet with the comfort of a state-of-the-art modern home. On the first floor of the chalet, you are welcomed into a light living area which large picture windows looking out onto the Aiguille du Midi and neighbouring peaks. A cosy seating area sits around a large central fireplace laid on a large feature stone slab. To the other end of this space is the dining area, with a large wooden table to seat the whole group. A modern fully equipped kitchen is separated to the dining area by a relaxed breakfast bar.

The living area leads out onto a large sunny terrace for anyone looking to relax in the mountain sunshine with a refreshing drink or coffee. Upstairs, there is a convenient mezzanine area which serves as a cosy TV snug or work space.

On the ground floor of the chalet, guests benefit from having a private spa area, which features a steam room and shower. This is the ideal space to ease any aches and pains of a long ski day.

The chalet has four bedrooms, three of which are located on the ground floor. The first are two double or twin bedrooms. There is a separate family bathroom, second shower room and WC for these guests. Also, on this floor is the bunk bedroom which can sleep up to 4 guests and has use of the shower room shared with the spa. The last bedroom suite is off from the living area and is a double or twin with en-suite bathroom.

For convenience, the chalet also has a ski boot room with boot warmers.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet to include full gourmet chalet catering and selected complimentary drinks. Also available on a self-catered basis on request.
