The Property
The Farmhouse is a luxury chalet in Samoëns accommodating up to 13 guests. Once you open the oak front door it opens onto the main lounge with its open 4 sided log fire, typical Haute-Savoie chimney & its 9m vaulted ceiling with it ornate & original timber structure. At 150m2 the ground floor of the main farmhouse offers guests a large & comfortable TV lounge with HD Sky TV + Apple TV, an additional lounge encircling the 4 sided open log fire which leads through to our farmhouse kitchen with oak table, oak kitchen & Aga.
Our spacious & luxurious Loft Suite can be found on the 2nd floor of La Vieille Ferme. It offers a Superking twin/double bed with additional twin beds set privately in a linked area. The Loft Suite has an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower & roll top bath, stocked with the loveliest of towels & soaps. The large picture windows open from the comfortable lounge on to the balcony with stunning views across the Giffre valley to the mountains. The Loft Suite also offers a log burner, reading area, flat screen TV, tea & coffee facilities. An excellent option for a family group or a couple wanting lots of space.
Rooms with a view 1 & 2. Both rooms are spacious & well equipped twin or super king size en-suite bedrooms with balcony views to the Alps. These rooms are on the 1st floor & are accessed through the vaulted entrance hall, past the glorious Haute-Savoie fireplace, up a grand oak staircase & along the minstrel gallery.
La Cave is a well-appointed, twin or super king size en-suite bedroom on the ground floor offering a super king or twin beds, a fully equipped en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, satellite TV.
Rapunzel Room A single, en-suite, queen size bedroom with en-suite bathroom & separate toilet on the 2nd floor. This cosy, unique room offers a little more privacy than others with a special internal window overlooking the lounge & open fireplace.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the property on a fully catered basis. No travel included.
Location
The Farmhouse is located in the Vallon d’en Haut a traditional farming hamlet, 5 minutes drive or ski bus and a 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Samoëns & the main telecabine. In the winter either our daily ski-lift transfers or the ski bus, which stops outside the farmhouse, takes you to the 8 man Grand Massif Express ski lift. The Grand Massif ski area includes Flaine, Samoens, Morillion, les Carroz and Sixt fer à Cheval, with more than 85 lifts and over 256km of pistes.
The Farmhouse can be joined with its connecting apartments making La Vielle Ferme and when combined can sleep up to 17 people.
