The Property

Sitting on the edge of Courchevel Le Praz, spanning five floors, Chalet Bois des Barmes offers excellent amenities and can sleep up to ten guests in its five bedrooms. The chalet sits in a privileged location, just five minutes walk away from the main high speed gondola up to Courchevel 1850, providing you an ideal base for your luxury ski getaway.

A large, open-plan living area is waiting to be discovered on the top floor. This elevated position allows far reaching views over the surrounding peaks and valleys, with a balcony terrace leading out from the main living space to really take advantage of this position. Inside, wood and stone cladding provide a wonderful, cosy yet modern space for you to relax and enjoy cosy winter nights around the large, central fireplace. A separate reading corner is an ideal snug space for a quieter moment and a cup of tea.

A large dining area, more than adequate for your group of ten family and friends, is positioned for you to gather around to enjoy a chalet breakfast before heading out onto the slopes. With the double-sided fireplace, it would also be an intimate setting for dinners if you choose to stay in during your evenings.

On the lower floor of the Chalet Bois des Barmes is where you will find the real surprise and delight! The personal spa area, complete with heated swimming pool, relaxation area and sauna, is just waiting to soothe those weary legs when you come back after a great day cruising the pistes. It is a super area to relax, unwind, and rest. Heading down into the chalet further, you will also find a large TV room, with surround sound and comfortable sofas, the ideal spot to take in a movie or sporting event.

On the ground floor, you'll discover two of five, well appointed twin/double bedrooms, both featuring en-suites and one being adapted for people with reduced mobility. On the floor above are the three remaining bedrooms. They all offer balcony access and en-suites with modern showers. However, the master bedroom on this floor also has a luxury bath for you to soak your muscles after a long day on the mountain. The rooms all ooze comfort and style, mixing a combination of traditional local wood and grey slate to give a superb contrast whilst staying modern and fresh.

This chalet also benefits from its own laundry facilities, an elevator for access to all floors and a ski room with boot warmers and ample storage. There is garage parking for anyone driving to resort for their holiday.

For larger groups, Chalet Bois des Barmes can be taken alongside its sister property, Chalet Bois du Ban which also sleeps 10, for up to 20 guests in total. When taken together, guests can move between the properties using the underground garage.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and includes a housekeeper for daily cleaning and breakfast preparation. Food and drinks are charged in addition.
