The Property
The Portetta Hotel was recently purchased by the British run Limewood Group which also owns several luxury boutique hotels and top quality restaurants in the New Forest area, Hampshire. The Portetta was totally renovated in 2008 and provides an excellent standard of accommodation, service and cuisine. It was awarded 4 star status in Summer 2010.
On the penthouse floor of the hotel there are a total of six 2 and 3 bedroom luxury apartments - The Portetta Lofts. These are individually designed and totally self contained with a fully fitted kitchen. Guests can either self cater or eat in the hotel's restaurant (at an additional supplement).
Lofts 1, 2 and 5 are the 2 bedroom options. The layout of each property is slightly different but all are between 60 – 98 sqm in living space.
The 4 person lofts have balconies with stunning views, and very comfortable living and dining areas with open fireplaces in the two larger of the three apartments, providing a warm and cosy ambience.
The Portetta Lofts benefit from the space and privacy of a chalet with the shared facilities of the Hotel Portetta which is located just below. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and spa as well as an in-house ski rental shop.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the Loft on a bed and breakfast basis (taken in the hotel restaurant) .The rates are based on the largest two of the three 2 bedroom apartments. The smallest apartment is available at a discounted rate.
Location
Conveniently positioned at the foot of the slopes of Courchevel Moriond, the recently renovated Portetta complex is relaxed and family-friendly. The hotel′s popular sun terrace gives direct access to the children′s nursery slopes, making it an excellent base for families with small children.
