The Property
Taiga Lodge is a beautiful luxury chalet in Meribel sleeping up to 12 guests across 6 en-suite bedrooms. With a great location close to the centre of the resort and pistes, this chalet is an ideal base for groups or friends or family who want to keep their ski plans easy.
The living area is located on the second floor of the chalet, with this space proving a comfortable and homely place for guests to retire to after a long day on the slopes. There are two seating areas within the room, with one cloud sofa in the middle of the room connecting the two areas. The first sofa area is surrounding a large open fireplace, and the other looking out of the patio doors to the view of the Meribel Valley. From here, guests can head out onto the terrace for a better view of the surroundings with a glass of Champagne before dinner. Back inside, your dedicated chef will be working away in the separate kitchen, ready for you to take a seat at the dining table for a delicious meal.
There are enough facilities at Taiga Lodge to keep the whole group entertained. Whilst the children retreat to the 10-person cinema room to watch the latest blockbuster, the adults may prefer to indulge themselves in a spot of wellness. Outside on the terrace is a hot tub, set in a position that benefits from the afternoon sun and stunning views of the surrounding peaks. On the first floor of the chalet is a sauna, perfect for an après-ski pampering session.
The accommodation is spread over 3 floors; on the first floor are two bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms and balconies. On the second floor there are a further two en-suite bedrooms, one with a balcony and the other with a terrace access. The third floor is dominated by the master bedroom, built in the eaves and bursting with character. This room has an en-suite bathroom and seating area. A sixth bedroom is currently in the process of being added. Each of the bedrooms in Taiga Lodge can be arranged as either a double or twin, providing flexibility to all group configurations.
Taiga Lodge can be taken alongside Indiana Lodge to sleep up to 24 guests. Although the chalets aren't combined, they are next door to each other and so make a great option for extended groups or families.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and includes full gourmet catering, selected complimentary drinks, return airport transfers and in-resort driver service.
Location
Taiga Lodge is situated in the exclusive area of Dou du Pont, surrounded by forestry and spectacular views over Meribel and the Saulire mountain peak. The chalet is located in the perfect location for keen skiers, just 100 m from the nearest piste and a 3-minute drive from the Chaudanne lift hub and ski school meeting point. Confident skiers are able to ski back to the property through the forest and arriving next to the hot tub situated on the balcony.
For those looking to experience the wide range of bars, restaurants and shops in Meribel centre, these can be accessed within a 10-minute walk, or just a 3-minute drive with the driver service provided.
