Stylish wooden interiors and stone grey luxury furnishings provide the chalet with a classical, mountain feel. Chalet Reine includes an open-plan living area, with a lounge, dining area, and sizeable, contemporary fully-equipped kitchen, complete with spacious kitchen island with additional breakfast bar seating. The lounge features a stylish, 360° fireplace for cosy, sociable evenings spent together. At the front of the lounge and dining area, the space opens up with ceilings that rise up to double height and expansive picture windows that open onto a balcony and provide gorgeous views of snowy mountain forests.
On return from a day of skiing in Serre Chevalier, there are few things better than unwinding in the privacy of Chalet Reine's spa facilities. The main highlight is the chalet's outdoor hot tub, found on the terrace and offering up gorgeous views along the valley. For further relaxation, the chalet also offers up the comforting warmth of a sauna, while a treadmill provides a good way to cool down after a fun-filled day on the slopes.
A bespoke cinema room is the ideal spot for snug nights in at Chalet Reine. Plush, tiered seating sit in front of the big screen, with a starry light ceiling creating a pleasant ambience to lose yourself in the world's of your favourite movies.
Chalet Reine includes four double bedrooms and one dormitory-style room, sleeping up to 13 guests in total. Simple designs featuring refined wooden interiors and sumptuous double beds make for intimate, comfortable bedrooms to retire to at the end of a long day. The dormitory includes five single beds, perfect for children or extra guests who are comfortable sharing together. Each room benefits from an en-suite bath or shower room.
The chalet features a large ski room, with boot warmers and plenty of storage space for outside gear and equipment. With its quiet location away from the busier villages, it's useful that the chalet comes with four parking spaces in its garage, as well as an EV charging point.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 13 guests to include full catering service and daily housekeeping.

Location
Chalet Reine is a luxury chalet in Serre Chevalier, occupying a peaceful location in a wooded area in Le Freyssinet, midway between the villages of Le Monêtier-les-Bains and Villeneuve.
The chalet is located 3km away from the slopes in Le Monêtier-les-Bains, the quietest area of Serre Chevalier, with a 5 minute drive bringing you to the beginner's pistes, ski school meeting points, and the main Bachas chairlift. A similar distance and time will take you over to Villenueve, with the Pontillas gondola your entry point to the Serre Chevalier ski area in this village, and more beginner's areas at the base of the slopes.
5 minutes in the car will bring you into the centre of Le Monêtier-les-Bains, where you will find a good selection of enticing bars and restaurants, as well as some ski shops and supermarkets. A similar drive in the opposite direction will bring you to the local amenities within La Salle-les-Alpes, just beyond Villenueve. A bus stop for the local navettes is also found 500m from the property.

At Chalet Reine, cuisine and wine is as much a part of your experience as skiing. A fantastically diverse menu with a range of dishes, both traditional and international, make for an exciting mix of food experiences. The menu for the day is set out each morning, with alternatives provided for anyone who would prefer, simply let the chef know before you head out skiing in Serre Chevalier for the day. Catering for any dietary requirements is no problem, with vegetarian and vegan dishes, and guests with food allergies all able to be accommodated.
You will enjoy an extensive cooked breakfast on 5 days, with the menu changing day to day, while the days off cereals and juices will still be provided. Afternoon tea is laid out from 4pm, with a delicious selection of cakes and pastries ready and waiting for any guests on return, whether you come back early or are staying out until the very last lifts. Dinner consists of three hearty, well-balanced courses, followed by a cheese board with a delightful selection of French cheeses, along with an appetising digestif. The courses feature unlimited, free-flowing wine pairings that have been extensively tested to satisfy guests. For any family ski holidays in Serre Chevalier, an early 2-course supper option is available, with a nutritious main course and tasty dessert served at approximate 5pm/5:30pm, so you can have the kids in bed before you sit down for your own dinner. On a 6th night, a meal delivery will be arranged and left in the fridge, with a family-style dinner and dessert complete with simple instructions for reheating.
