Chez Bear Ski Lodge is a beautifully restored 17th century farmhouse which offers five-star luxury chalet services and the unique ambiance of a private hotel. Situated in the charming Belvoir village, five minutes drive above Briancon and Serre Chevalier by your private chauffeur, Chalet Chez Bear is exquisitely decorated and reflects characteristics from its long history, including an open-plan living area with original stone work and larch beams.
Chez Bear's lounge is an excellent place to unwind with comfortable seating and large open fire. The beautifully finished chalet bar features a wood burning pizza oven where much of the cuisine is prepared in front of you and the large dining area can seat up to 12 people.
Located outside, on the terrace with views overlooking the valley, Chez Bear Ski Lodge's hot tub offers the perfect setting for your post-ski relaxation. It is a wood fired hot tub that can seat 7 guests comfortably, made ready every evening for when guests return from the slopes. Indoors, for further relaxation you will also find a traditional sauna which is just perfect for easing the muscles after a long day on the slopes.
The chalet games area contains charming antique furniture and a selection of board games. Here, groups can enjoy playing an in house tournament of pool or can relax with a movie on the big screen.
Chez Bear Ski Lodge has five en-suite bedrooms, offering stunning south facing views from the chalet of the mountain scenery of the Durance valley. With 4 double bedrooms, a further triple room the chalet is ideal for a group of friends or couple of families. Some of the bedrooms have additional beds, so the chalet can sleep up to 15 on request.
For larger groups of up to 21 guests, subject to availability, Chez Bear Ski Lodge also has an annex property, with an additional living/dining/kitchen area, a double bed, and a bunk room which can sleep 4 adults. A charming rustic addition to the restored farmhouse of Chez Bear, the annex can sleep up to 6 extra guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 people and includes full chalet catering service and chauffeur service to and from the slopes. Extra guests can be accommodated (up to a maximum capacity of 15), please enquire for more information.
Chez Bear Ski Lodge is positioned high above Briançon giving spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and of the valley below. Briançon's Prorel telecabine is only 4 minutes drive courtesy of the lodge's chauffeur driven 9-seat Landrover. Guests choose any ski departure point in resort, then arrange or call for collection ensuring there is no need to walk anywhere with ski equipment. Ski to and from wherever; never wait for a ski bus, never walk in ski boots or carry skis.

Make an EnquiryThe chalet is fully serviced. A professional chef and staff have been trained by the finest in the industry and have a luxury service background. They will contact you ahead to discuss your menus for the week and make proper arrangements to meet all dietary requirements. An in-house host will provide an exceptional concierge service to help you with the booking of ski tuition, guides, equipment or help with any restaurant reservations, massages or additional activities. The chalet comes with access to a driving service and chauffeur, who is ready to take you to the slopes until 11am and pick you up after 3:30pm. The timings do have some flexibility to them if necessary, and on request.
