Chez Bear Ski Lodge is a beautifully restored 17th century farmhouse with an outdoor hot tub in the Briançon valley. Sitting high above the city, it affords tremendous views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Sleeping 12 guests over its five bedrooms and offering a range of entertainment and wellness facilities this traditional chalet is a great option for a catered ski holiday in the Serre Chevalier ski area.
The cosy lounge area of Chez Bear Ski Lodge is bursting with an authentic alpine charm, rustic wood beams from the original farmhouse and white stone walls create a comforting design made homely by the open fireplace in the corner of the room. Plush sofas and armchairs welcome guests to rest their tired legs and enjoy some afternoon tea after their day on the slopes of Serre Chevalier. Around the corner, the dinner table and bar area provide a relaxed social space for guests to unwind in each other's company. A wood burning pizza oven also sits behind the bar, adding to your evening's ambiance.
Outside on Chez Bear Ski Lodge's terrace, soak in the views from the soothing wood fired Nordic hot tub. Perfect for post-ski recovery and relaxation, especially when paired with a rejuvenating session in the chalet's traditional sauna. It's just what you need after an exhilarating day on the mountain.
For some friendly competition in the evenings, retire to the games area for a tournament on the pool table. Sat under arched stone ceilings with comfy furniture, it's the ideal hangout for an evening of fun with your loved ones. A large projector screen can also be pulled down for you to enjoy your favourite blockbuster.
Chez Bear Ski Lodge has five en-suite bedrooms, offering stunning south facing views from the chalet of the mountain scenery. With four double bedrooms and a further triple room, the chalet is ideal for a group of friends or families. Some of the bedrooms have additional beds on mezznine levels, so the chalet can sleep up to 15 on request.
Self-driving guests of Chez Bear Ski Lodge will have to request parking before arrival.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 people and includes full chalet catering service and chauffeur service to and from the slopes. Extra guests can be accommodated (up to a maximum capacity of 15), please enquire for more information.

Chez Bear Ski Lodge is positioned high above Briançon giving spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and of the valley below.
Briançon's Prorel telecabine is only 5 minutes drive courtesy of the lodge's shuttle driver service. The slopes from the Prorel Telecabine are not best suited to beginners. Guests looking to ski the beginners areas and drop children to ski school will have to drive 15 minutes to Chantemerle where they can find ski school meeting points by the Blétonet chairlift, and the Ratier cable car which will connect you to the wider Serre Chevalier ski area.
Chalet Chez Bear Ski Lodge is a short 8 minutes' drive from Briançon's historical fortifications. The surrounding city also features plenty of bars, shops and restaurants to explore and keep you entertained throughout your stay.

Make an EnquiryChez Bear Ski Lodge offers a fully catered service to include a dedicated chalet team comprised of a professional chef, chalet host and shuttle driver service.
Your chef will contact you ahead of your stay to discuss your menus for the week and make proper arrangements to meet all of your group's dietary requirements. An in-house chalet host will provide an exceptional concierge service to assist you with the booking of ski tuition, guides, equipment or help with any restaurant reservations, massages or additional activities. The chalet comes with access to a driving service, who is ready to take you to the slopes until 11am and pick you up after 3:30pm. The timings do have some flexibility to them if necessary, and on request.
