The Property
Chalet Kernow is a privately operated luxury ski chalet in the Swiss resort of Verbier. The chalet is extremely spacious and sleeps up to 12 + 2* people (* Additional per person charge for extra 2 guests) in over 500sqm of accommodation. It has been decorated to the highest standard by a leading interior designer and facilities include, a snooker table, outdoor Jacuzzi and mini spa with sauna, steam room and massage area.
The chalets TV and music systems have been planned to the highest specifications with a networked Linn Hi-Fi system, 50” wall mounted plasma screen TV with home cinema system and 3 further wall mounted TV screens. All the TVs are connected to a UK Sky Digital system.
The chalet also boasts its own wine cellar, which houses an exceptional private wine collection. House wines are carefully selected to satisfy even the most discerning palate and guests may also pick out a special bottle from the chalet’s wine list to enjoy a la carte.
Guests will be looked after by a team of five staff, who are there to provide a genuinely bespoke service. Breakfast, tea and dinner are prepared daily by chalet’s professionally trained chef. Although the chalet is very centrally located it also has a dedicated 24-hour chauffeur service.
Accommodation laid out over 3 floors:
• Top floor open plan living area with south-facing balcony, separate professional kitchen, TV snug, open fire and mezzanine with billiard table
• Ground floor spa with communal shower, large sauna and steam room, exercise bike and massage area
• Ski room with heated boot warmers
Prices are per chalet for up to 8 adults and 4 children and include full gourmet catering service, open drinks' cabinet and 24 hour in-resort driver. Can accommodate an extra 2 adults at a 10% supplement on the prices provided.
N.B. The prices displayed are converted daily from Swiss Francs into UK Pounds, and therefore the prices displayed will fluctuate from one day to the next. All quotes will be provided in Swiss Francs.
Location
Chalet Kernow is located in the heart of Verbier on Chemin des Vernes, directly below the main Medran ski lift. In the morning it takes less than 5 minutes to walk directly to Medran. However for those of you who prefer to warm up when you get to the slopes the chalet driver will take you directly to Medran which is a 3 minute drive or to Savoleyres which is an additional 5 minutes.
The shops, bars, restaurants and clubs of Verbier’s Place Centrale and main High Street are also within an easy 10 minute walking distance of the chalet.
Notwithstanding the central location, your dedicated Chalet Kernow driver is on hand 24 hours a day, if required, to convey you to and from any location in the resort.
Room Layout
Sleeps 12-14 people in 2 double rooms, 3 twins and a quadruple built in adult size bunk room.
• First floor houses 5 bedrooms, 3 en suite, and three leading directly onto a balcony.
• Ground floor suite with twin bedroom, shower room and living area.
• Bedrooms all have English sprung mattresses and bases, goosedown bedding and Egyptian cotton bedlinen. All are equipped with humidifiers.
• Bathrooms include rain ceiling shower and wrought iron bath. All are equipped with bathrobes, hairdryers and Jo Malone toiletries.
