Subtlety is the key to design of the Chalet Julisam. The tone of the decor is minimalistic and understated, yet with an unmistakable air of state-of-the-art luxury. The top floor is dedicated entirely to living areas. This light and spacious open-plan room benefits from a wraparound glass facade that maximises unbeatable, uninterrupted mountain views. Plush, sofa seating sits upon a revolving circular platform to help best admire these stunning panoramas. Adjacent, a dining table is staged under the glimmering golden petals of the light fixtures, which flows into an expansive, fully-equipped kitchen. At the heart of the living area, a self-playing Yamaha grand piano will play dulcet tones to accompany your relaxation and mealtimes.
Across its bottom floor, Chalet Julisam provides one of the most ultimate private spas in the mountains. This bright and modern wellness space offers pure serenity. There's a 14m indoor swimming pool complete with cascading waterfall feature from the ceiling, a 6-seater indoor hot tub, and a designer KLAFS sauna. Outside you will find another hot tub for your pleasure, while those looking to keep in their best shape will be well-equipped due to the cardio facilities in the gym and the indoor bouldering wall. Water fountains that spray up from the floor and a virtual interactive aquarium are two further facilities, ones sure to delight any families with children.
The chalet offers extensive outdoor space featuring sheltered tables for alfresco dining, a firepit and cosy blankets for chilly evenings, and the stylish, contemporary sculptures of David Harber. For the kids, there are two outdoor playgrounds, a trampoline, slide, small football pitch and sandpit. Of course, they are sure to also delight simply playing in the snowy garden, or in the charming playrooms found in the chalet. Further entertainment can be found in the sumptuous cinema room, with games consoles and table football also available for keeping yourself occupied at the end of the evening.
Spread across the middle level, Chalet Julisam includes 5 en-suite double bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests. The bedrooms are generous in size, with sleek and elegant designs that exemplify modern luxury. All bedrooms come with pristine en-suite shower rooms, while one bedroom featuring a glamorous freestanding bathtub, perfectly positioned to showcase the unbelievable views. Contemporary touches further highlight Chalet Julisam's high-class nature, including height-adjustable beds, retractable TVs, blackout curtains and sound-insulated doors.
For practical purposes, Chalet Julisam has an elevator to take you between its three floors. There is underground parking for up to 10 cars, and a bespoke ski room to store any ski equipment.
In addition to a plethora of sensational facilities, Chalet Julisam also plays its part to combat climate change. The chalet generates its own power, via solar panels and geothermal heat pumps, while triple thermal insulation glazing ensures this is retained within the chalet. Chalet Julisam can maintain completely CO2-free operations. A small portion of your booking fee is also given to a charity organisation that aims to help families who are less fortunate.
Larger groups of up to 20 guests can take Chalet Julisam with its secondary, guest building, known as the Julisam Estate.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self catered basis. Additional services are available on request, where you can design an à la carte package as desired.
The chalet is also available on a fully staffed basis, and is offered with full staff services to include a private chef for breakfast, lunch and dinner preparations, service staff, in-resort chauffeur and daily housekeeping. Food and drink charged in addition.
