The Property
Chalet Big Bear is nestled in the village of Argentière in the Chamonix valley, a luxury chalet that sleeps up to 11 guests across 5 bedrooms. This luxury chalet with a hot tub enjoys a south-west exposure, guaranteeing plenty of sunshine, as well as lovely views of the Aiguilles Rouges mountain range.
Chalet Big Bear benefits from a blend of luxurious design and traditional alpine charm, pairing modern, contemporary furniture with a wood cabin interior for a cosy atmosphere. You are welcomed with a large open living space, connecting the kitchen and living area. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views across Mont Blanc and the Grands Montets glacier, allowing you to marvel at the view and brightening the entire space with natural light. The lounge seating is cosy and comfortable and centres around the double-sided fireplace. The fire also backs onto a separate study, acting as a hearth for the entire floor. The family dining area offers a great place for everyone to dine together and leads on to the modern kitchen which is fully equipped and also features a breakfast bar area.
Located on the ground floor of the chalet is the sauna with adjoining shower room and separate guest toilet, where you can take some time to sweat out the fatigue. In the evening, you may find yourself slipping into the sunken hot tub on the large terrace accessed from this floor for some well deserved recovery after a long day on the slopes. Also on this floor, is the TV Room, where kids can escape to for a film night or for a game or two.
Chalet Big Bear sleeps 10-11 guests across its five bedrooms. The bedrooms all conform to the wood cabin design, creating that alpine feeling for all guests to enjoy no matter what room they are situated in. The master bedroom is located on the top floor of the chalet and has a walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and balcony. On the ground floor of the chalet you will find a further 4 en-suite bedrooms. All of these are double rooms, and one has a single overhead bunk bed to sleep an additional guest.
For your convenience, there is a ski room with storage space and boot warmers, as well as laundry facilities, and private parking.
Chalet Zenith 1 and Chalet Zenith 2, the sister chalets to Chalet Big Bear, are located next door. The three chalets can be rented together for group sizes between 35-40, ideal for corporate trips or extended family holidays.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 11 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering, in-resort shuttle service and daily housekeeping.

Location
Chalet Big Bear in Argentière occupies a peaceful location in the charming, traditional Savoyard village of Argentière, within the Chamonix valley.
The chalet is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the nearest bus service, or you can use the in-resort shuttle service to easily access the different Chamonix ski areas. These include Les Tours (6-minute drive), Grand Montets (8-minute drive), and the Brévent Flégère ski area (12-minutes drive). A little further out, Les Houches is a 25-minute drive.
Argentière is an authentic Savoyard village with a few local restaurants and shops, which can be found within a 5-minute walk from the chalet. To reach the lively centre of Chamonix, with lots more restaurants, bars, cafés, and shopping opportunities, it will take about 15-minutes driving time down the valley.

The resort team will ensure you are well looked after from the moment of your arrival. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a champagne welcome, and you can begin talks and plans for your desired breakfast styles and any meal preferences. The chefs, who have 5-star experience, ensure the quality of food being served on a nightly basis is to an exceptional standard. If you have any food requirements or preferences, they are more than happy to help tailor the meals to suit you and your group. Guests are encouraged to provide preferences well in advance to allow time for meal planning.
The in-resort shuttle service will take you from the chalets to any of Chamonix's ski areas, with a morning drop-off and afternoon pick up service included. If you require some additional transport within the Chamonix valley, there is flexibility on extending this service on a complementary basis, but this does not extend to unlimited transfers. An on-call driver service can be arranged for an additional cost.
In addition to fine dining, in-resort driver service and daily housekeeping, the concierge team can arrange additional extras to make your stay that bit more special. For example, this includes childcare, lift passes, ski lessons, equipment hire, restaurant bookings and more. The team are also always happy to use their local knowledge to provide daily information on the ski terrain, current snow conditions, local attractions, restaurants, bars, and entertainment as they know this can make your stay. Additionally, entertainment for children, including board games and toboggans, as well as a special children's menu with separate dining times can all be arranged on request.
