The Property

Chalet Black Stone was built and designed by Chamonix's leading architects using high quality materials, ideal to accommodate up to 10 guests in the renowned resort of Chamonix. Across its 326m² the property has been exquisitely finished and results in the perfect alpine home for a family or group of friends looking to spend their luxury ski holiday in France.

The luxurious and modern design of the Chalet Black Stone's interiors can't be overlooked. It is a combination of sleek sharp lines, crisp white interiors and a touch of Alpine influence. The generous open-plan living area has a welcoming chalet feel, with vaulted beamed ceilings and large picture windows looking out onto the scenic backdrop of the forest and peaks. A touch of industrial influence comes in with bold black metal window frames, sleek slate worktops in the kitchen and a glass fronted mezzanine level. To one end, a cosy lounge with feature fireplace is ideal for relaxing in the evenings. The dining area adjacent compliments the chalet's design and can easily sit 10 guests to enjoy mealtimes together. The modern kitchen also features an iconic bar area, tying the spaces together.

Chalet Black Stone is built to make the most of the stunning views of Mont Blanc and Pic du Midi. The glass patio doors create a postcard worthy image, giving you direct access to the large outdoor terrace and wrap-around balcony, ideal to relax and soak in the breath-taking landscapes. Here you can also find a nice alfresco spot, where you can enjoy outdoor apéritifs and dinner during the warmer months.

You can be sure that Chalet Black Stone provides you with all the facilities to guarantee a luxury yet entertaining stay for your ski holiday in Chamonix. After an intensive day up and down the slopes, the chalet offers a wellness area where you can relax in style. Whether it's the heated indoor resistance pool or the nearby sauna, or the inviting outdoor hot tub, you can find different options to ease your muscles and enjoy the luxury of the chalet. On those days when you feel like leaving the skis untouched, the large cinema room is the ideal place to relax whilst watching your favourite movies, and where the kids can have some fun playing. The mezzanine on the other hand would be a perfect spot to escape to with a book in hand or for some essential office work.

The five en-suite bedrooms are all finished to high standards, following the modern alpine design, and all furnished with flat screen TVs. Four double bedrooms complete with their en-suite shower rooms can be found on the ground floor. According to the desires of the guests, two of these double bedrooms can also be arranged as twins. While the last double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, can be found on the first floor. These rooms provide a quintessential comfort and are the perfect place to rest your head after enjoying some of the amazing skiing in the Chamonix Valley.

For guests arriving with their own vehicle, the underground tunnel takes you into the garage ensuring an easy, private and dry arrival, offering a covered and secure parking space for 3 cars and bikes. The property also provides laundry facilities and a well-equipped ski/boot room, including heated boot racks and a drying cabinet to make sure you are dry and ready for your next day of skiing in Chamonix. Getting your bags or shopping to your room has never been easier thanks to the elevator present through the house.

For larger groups, Chalet Black Stone can be booked in conjunction with the opposite Chalet Black Squirrel, which can each sleep up to 10 guests. When taken together, the two properties can accommodate 22 guests in total, among 10 bedrooms. Please get in touch if this is required for your booking.

The prices shown are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with mid-week housekeeping.
