Chalet Rubicon

The Property

Chalet Rubicon is a 300m² chalet in the popular resort of Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley. The chalet has 7 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 18 people at full capacity. The chalet is spread across 3 floors and is very well located in a ski-in location with all of the amenities that Les Houches has to offer just 50m from the chalet.

The main living area of the chalet comprises a spacious lounge with 2 separate seating areas and a large real wood fire. The living area has large patio doors allowing you to overlook the piste during the day. Non-skiers can sit back with a glass of wine and watch skiers glide their way down the home run into the centre of Les Houches.

Besides the living area is the dining space with a large table which can seat up to 20 people. Directly next to that is the first of 2 kitchens. This spacious kitchen has a large island in the middle which is also where you find a cooking station and breakfast bar. Two of the walls in this kitchen have large windows which perfectly frame the amazing views of the Mont Blanc Massif. The second of the kitchens, although smaller is still of a good size and fully equipped for preparing culinary delights.

For those that enjoy a spot of wellness on their luxury ski holiday, Chalet Rubicon has an indoor sauna and a large outdoor hot tub from where you can enjoy picturesque views. The hot tub sits on a generous outdoor terrace which is the perfect place for building a snowman or relaxing in the warmer late season sun.

In total there are 7 bedrooms in the chalet. 6 of these bedrooms can be set up in either a twin or double configuration, and a further bunk room sleeps 4 people in 2 adult sized bunk beds. Five of the twin/double rooms are en-suite whilst one shares a bathroom with the bunk room. One of the twin/double bedrooms has a mezzanine which can be accessed by a steep ladder. The mezzanine has an additional 2 beds but due to the limited headroom, these are best suited to children. Each of the bedrooms is uniquely decorated in different tones and colours and some have access to either a terrace or balcony.

The chalet is fully equipped with the latest technology including a Sonos sound system and underfloor heating. There is a washing machine and tumble drier and ample parking in the chalet's driveway.

The prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 15 guests and is available on either a catered or self-catered basis. A full list of what is included for each board basis can be found on the pricing section of this listing.
