The Property
Chalet Le Jo'li Pré in Villaroger is a stunning property, boasting an enviable location at the foot of the slopes of the Paradiski ski area. The chalet features a classic stone and wood exterior, luxuriously furnished, with a wonderful assortment of facilities and seven bedrooms that can welcome a total of 16 guests.
Chalet Le Jo'li Pré houses a spacious, light, open-plan living and dining space. The main lounge, filled with plush sofas and stylish armchairs, benefits from a double-height vaulted wood ceiling, and cosy corner log burner to keep you toasty on those colder winter evenings. Wood and stone interiors foster a classic chalet ambience, while tall windows and glass doors reveal stunning, picturesque views of the Tarentaise valley. The dining area is set behind the main lounge space, with a long table that provides ample seating for your entire group, perfect for a chalet where dining is at the heart of its experience. The fully-equipped kitchen is found next to this dining space, with a charming little breakfast bar a great spot to enjoy some casual drinks or morning coffee. The chalet benefits from several balconies and a sun-trap of a terrace, a great space to escape to and enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings, with views of the mountains and the slopes which lead down to Villaroger.
The terrace is also home to one of Chalet Le Jo'li Pré's key highlights, an outdoor hot tub, There are few better ways to end a great day skiing than by sinking into the soothing, bubbling waters of the hot tub. In addition to the hot tub, further wellness can be found inside, where a rejuvenating sauna and some gym equipment can be found.
Chalet Le Jo'li Pré features seven double bedrooms, one with an additional single bed, offering a maximum capacity of 15 guests. The bedrooms are warm and inviting, lovingly furnished, with traditional wood interiors and sumptuous bedding. Five of the bedrooms offer the flexibility of being taken as twin rooms, perfect for all manner of group configurations, and each room comes with direct access to a private or shared balcony. All rooms also boast en-suite shower or bathrooms.
For additional convenience, the chalet has a ski room with boot warmers, and has parking space for up to 5 cars.
Prices are per person based on two people sharing a room and is offered on a fully catered basis with selected complimentary drinks.
On some weeks, the prices may be based on exclusive occupancy of the chalet, based on a minimum of 12 adult guests.
Location
Chalet Le Jo'li Pré is a luxury chalet located in the Paradiski ski area, situated in the quaint and charming village of Villaroger, at the base of the slopes.
Situated at the bottom of the blue Lys piste, you are across the road from the Villaroger gondola, which starts your journey up the Aiguille Rouge and towards the villages of Les Arcs 1950 and Les Arcs 2000. While servicing the Paradiski ski area and its 425km of slopes, the chalet is also well situated for exploring some of the other ski areas of the Haute Tarentaise, situated just 15-minutes drive from Sainte Foy and 25-30 minutes drive from Tignes and Val d'Isère.
Villaroger is a tranquil, secluded village, although it does feature a couple of restaurants, with the nearest one just a few doors down from the chalet. For a wealth of shops, restaurants, bars, and additional amenities, the town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice is less than 20-minutes drive from the chalet.
