The Property
Chalet Altaïr is a traditional, rustic alpine chalet just outside the centre of Méribel with 6 bedrooms that accommodates up to 12 guests. A short drive from the popular ski lifts in Méribel, this cosy comfort home is in an ideal location for you and the family to enjoy.
Chalet Altaïr consists of two living rooms, one with a casual set up and the second room being slightly more formal. The formal lounge space is complete with comfy sofas and a large stone fireplace. Snowy mountain views elevate the feel in this living room and make for a nice retreat to return to after a long day battling the elements. Just off from the formal lounge, the second living space is found. Separate, yet close by, it could be the ideal place for kids to play together while parents enjoy their own space. This leads toward the spacious dining area with a solid wood table to host all of your evening meals. This open-plan layout is ideal for a social group wanting lots of space but a good layout for entertaining.
On the ground floor, a hot tub awaits your arrival, allowing you to soak those aching legs after a hard day skiing. Outside, the open terrace also features an outdoor sauna, to continue your spa break and relaxation.
Each of the bedrooms in Chalet Altaïr benefit from their own en-suite bathrooms. On the second floor, the master bedroom features a large en-suite with bath and shower, as well as a dressing area for that extra touch of luxury. A balcony accompanied by scenic views finishes this room off nicely. A spacious double bedroom is also situated on this floor. Moving down to the ground floor, you will find 2 double bedrooms and a twin room. Lastly, Chalet Altaïr offers a studio apartment, ideal for extra privacy, with a mezzanine with twin beds and a small space with triple bunk (sleeps 3) and en-suite bathroom. All rooms are completed with smooth alpine wood, giving it that homely hideaway feel.
Chalet Altaïr also includes an external ski room, 2 parking spaces at the rear of the chalet and laundry facilities.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered with a contactless catering service and mid-stay housekeeping. Empty bed/children discounts apply.
Self-catered prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet to include mid-stay cleaning and linen change.
Additional services can be arranged on request.
Chalet Location
Chalet Altaïr is located within a small hamlet of traditional rustic chalets at the entrance of the Méribel Mussillon. The Chaudanne is just a short 5-minute ride on the resort bus shuttle. Here, you will find the Main Saulire Express and Rhodos ski lift stations and ski school meeting point. At the end of your day a wide variety of pistes, for all levels, ski back to this point.
The nearest bus stop is conveniently only a 2-minute walk away. Alternatively, the Chaudanne is just a 3-minute drive by car.
The chalet is also a quick 10-minute walk from the centre of Méribel, allowing for easy accessibility to all services during your stay. Guests can make the most of the good choice of shops, bars, and restaurants here as well as the large Parc Olympique sport centre.

Your premium chalet will be ready on arrival with beds made, dinner ready, fridges stocked, ski equipment booked and lift passes delivered. They will prepare everything behind the scenes, but only be a phone call away for anything you need. This modern twist on chalet holidays ensures both safety and comfort for you and your family during your winter getaway.
When taken on a self-catered basis, a mid-stay clean with towel and linen change is included, as well as end of stay cleaning, a welcome basket, and firewood.
The contactless catered service offers a more effortless holiday experience, with guests greeted to a Champagne reception upon arrival at your luxury ski chalet. In addition to the self-catered inclusions, guests will receive the luxury of having the supplies you need for each meal, including; breakfast every morning, afternoon snacks, pre-dinner nibbles and dinner for six evenings. Breakfast each morning consists of a selection of hot and cold provisions, stocked prior to your arrival in the chalet. Afternoon snacks and pre-dinner nibbles will also be waiting for you in the chalet, with a selection of complimentary drinks (including wine, beer, and port) also available to enjoy before your meals. On five evenings, you will receive prepared meals by the local Savoyard Delicatessen and the remaining night will be a Raclette style meal. This means you can skip the hassle of meal planning and ingredient hunting and let the team take care of everything. All orders will be made with Savoyard delicatessens and supermarkets.
