The Property
Le Chalet de Claude offers 400m² of living space and is a large authentic farmhouse that has been renovated to a very high standard of luxury. Throughout the chalet you will find highly stylish interiors with quality furniture. Each of these design elements ensure modern, yet elegant decoration throughout the property. With 5 bedrooms, this chalet is an idyllic base for up to 11 guests.
A large and cosy living room with double height ceiling welcomes you in the property, from which you can admire breath-taking landscapes with family and friends. This space, sits in the heart of Le Chalet de Claude with lots of natural light flooding in from all sides and plenty of rustic charm, nodding to the property’s historic past. A sofa TV sofa corner as well as the main seating area provides two places to relax.
Leading off from the lounge area, on a split level is the fully equipped galley kitchen. Sleek worktops, modern appliances and an eye-catching breakfast bar make this a welcome haven for a budding cook, while large French doors lead out onto one of the chalets main terraces. Large terraces and bay windows are a key feature of the Le Chalet de Claude, all with stunning views facing the ski slopes or the forest. To the other end of the kitchen, a classy dining rooms is ready and waiting for a meal together as one.
After a long day on the snow, you can change the scene and jump in the large indoor swimming pool (of 7m x 3m with jet stream) or relax in the nearby sauna. The combination of these stunning facilities makes Le Chalet de Claude perfect for entertaining groups and families alike.
Each of the five bedrooms follows the luxurious design of the chalet. The first double bedroom leads off from the dining area and offers an en-suite bathroom and access to a terrace. The master bedroom has its own private flight of stairs up to its own quarters and is a large room with vaulted ceilings, expansive views, and a very generous bathroom. Up a second staircase, is a triple room again in its own quarters and an en-suite. The two remaining bedrooms on the garden level, share a large bath and shower room.
Le Chalet de Claude also provides a large parking area outside for 3 cars and a garage parking for 2 vehicles, with an adjacent boot room with heated boot and glove racks. A laundry room with separate washing and drying machines is also included.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 11 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with housekeeping.
Location
Chalet de Claude is situated in private grounds in an exclusive location just 10 minutes walk and 2 minutes drive from the centre of Morzine. With views to the mountains and slopes to the east and south, west to Morzine, and north to the Forest, Chalet de Claude enjoys exceptional views.
For accessing the skiing, guests can take the walk to the nearest lift, Nyon, which is around 10 minutes and connects you into the Morzine/Les Gets ski area. Alternatively, there is a bus stop just a 4 minute walk from the chalet where you can easily connect to the ski lifts, Nyon, Pleney or Super Morzine.
With ample parking at the chalet, the chalet works great for guests who are self-driving and who want complete flexibility with where they start their ski day each morning.
