Chalet Arolla is a fantastic modern property in the heart of Tignes Le Lac 2100m. The chalet can accommodate up to 18 guests in comfort across the five double rooms, children's dorm and self-contained studio it offers.
On the top floor of the chalet, you will find the main living area in the property, which offers double height ceilings and an authentic charm. This is a generous space with ample seating, natural light and views of the mountains surrounding. The lounge area centres around a large open fireplace. Divided into two separate seating areas, kids and parents can enjoy their own space.
There is also a dining area with a large wooden table for the whole group to be able to dine together. This is separated to the open-plan kitchen by a breakfast bar and swivel seats. With wrap-around balconies right around the living floor, you can enjoy stepping out into the fresh mountain air to appreciate your surroundings.
On the lowest floor of the property you will find a fantastic entertainment space. Hidden behind a bookcase, you will find a great media room with 82" TV, games console, children's games and books and a bar area. This is a secret space the kids will love!
Also on this floor is the expansive spa facilities of the chalet. This dedicated space includes a large indoor Jacuzzi with hydro-massage, Hammam, sauna and 10°C Plunge pool - for those who can brave it! If you are looking to work out during your stay, there is also a small fitness space with gym equipment. Massage treatments can also be arranged in your own spa on request.
The Chalet's master bedroom and the remaining 4 doubles are all located on the first floor of the chalet, and each feature balcony access and an en-suite shower room. There is a children's dorm with a quad bunk on the lower floor of the property with an en-suite shower room. For larger groups, you can also use the self-contained studio on the ground floor, which has a further quad bunk bedroom and a sofa bed to provide a space for 6 guests.
For added convenience, this chalet has a ski room, garage and laundry facilities. The whole chalet is also served by an internal elevator, making it fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. One bedroom and the studio are also disabled accessible.
The chalet is typically offered on a self-catered basis and the price is based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 adults and 8 children and is offered on a self-catered basis with the services of a chalet manager and daily housekeeping.
The catered rate is based on 10 adults only and also includes a private chef for daily breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner service. Each extra adult is charged at €600 EUR and each extra child if €350 EUR per week on top. Chef subject to availability confirmation.
Located in the centre of Tignes Le Lac, Chalet Arolla offers you a fantastic location to maximise your stay. The chalet sits just 50m from the piste (blue run - Paquis) with a short ski to either the Lavachet or Chaudannes lifts to make sure you are on your way in a matter of moments.
The centre of resort is a 5-10 minutes walk from the chalet where you will find a good range of shops, bars and local restaurants and the ski school meeting point. There is also a large sports complex and wellness centre for any non-skiers in group. For easy access to the village, Tignes Val Claret or Val d'Isere the bus stop is just at the top of the road.

Make an EnquiryFrom the moment you arrive, you will be well looked after at Chalet Arolla. The chalet's dedicated manager will be there to welcome you on your arrival. Each day, the spa will be prepared for you, the living areas will be tidied, and the snow will be cleared from the entrance and balconies.
They will also make sure you have everything you need for your stay in Tignes and will be happy to discuss any pre-arrival arrangements with you, such as ski hire, lift passes. ski lessons, childcare or catering options to name a few.
Also, on demand, the chalet manager can arrange spa and massage treatments to be enjoyed in the privacy of your chalet. Ask the chalet manager during your stay, and nothing will be too much trouble to arrange for you.
The chalet works with a great local catering company, should you wish to upgrade your holiday, for the full stay, to include catering. They can adapt their menu to your preferences and requests and a time that suits you.
When taken fully catered, a quality chef will be provided, so your group can enjoy a luxury catered break, including daily continental breakfasts, afternoon tea and pastries, followed by a 3-course dinner including table wine. The service is charged at €600 EUR per adult per week and €350 per child (under 12yrs) per week.
When you don't want the full package, but a few extra services added to your self-catered stay for enhanced comfort. You can choose services from a selected list.
Breakfast only : Continental breakfast with hot option. €140 EUR per adult or €100 per child (under 12yrs) per week.
