The Property
Arolay Penthouse is a 155m² luxury four-bedroom penthouse apartment in Val d'Isère. Found in the quaint hamlet of Le Fornet and positioned along the Isère river, it affords stunning views of its natural surroundings. The top floor duplex apartment sleeps up to eight guests, perfect for groups of friends looking for a luxury ski holiday in Val d'Isère.
The top floor of the Arolay Penthouse holds the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. Under the enchanting vaulted wood ceiling, a relaxing modern seating area, with sumptuous sink-in sofas and armchairs, gathers around the atmospheric log burning fireplace. Large floor to ceiling fitted windows illuminate the space with natural light as well as showcasing the terrific top floor views of the Val d'Isère valley. Under an intricate wicker lampshade sits a dark oval-shaped dining table, the setting for your delicious home-cooked dinners. Beside the dining table is the kitchen's marble top island, with a breakfast bar and three bar stools, allowing you to keep your designated cook company. A tall glass door leads you onto the rooftop balcony, where an alfresco dining area awaits your arrival. Looking out on the snow swept trees and with panoramic views of the peaks that surround, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of fizz after your exciting day racing around the mountains.
The lower floor of the Arolay Penthouse is dedicated to its four inviting en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom is a cosy alpine refuge with thick mattresses and comforting blankets, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The master bedroom is a double/twin room with a dressing area, access to a shared wrap-around balcony and a sleek en-suite bathroom. The two double bedrooms also have access to the shared balcony, and the last room is a double/twin room with an en-suite shower room.
For your convenience, guests of the Arolay Penthouse have use of three indoor parking spaces during their stay. There are laundry facilities in the apartment. An internal elevator also allows guests to skip the stairs as it delivers them to their penthouse; it also takes them down to their private ski room with heated boot warmers which is found next to the building's main entrance.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the apartment for up to 8 guests on a self-catered basis to include daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change.
Accommodation only rates without housekeeping or mid-week towel change are also available, please enquire.
Location
The Arolay Penthouse is a luxury apartment perched on the banks of the River Isère in the naturally charming hamlet of Le Fornet in Val d'Isère.
For access to the vast Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area, it's only a short 5-minute walk to the Le Fornet cable car. There's also a shuttle bus that runs between Le Fornet and Val d'Isère regularly from 7:30am until 2:30am, making it easy to get to the main snow front. This is where most ski schools will meet and where you'll find the Solaise gondola and Olympique cable car to start your ski day.
The centre of Val d'Isère is a 4 minutes drive from Arolay Penthouse, and has a wide variety of boutique shops, fabulous restaurants and bouncing bars to keep everyone entertained during their stay.

Should you desire, this property is also available on an accommodation only basis. Perfect for groups who want total privacy and freedom on their ski holiday, you will be left to your own devices without the services of staff, although you can still expect your luxury chalet/apartment to be well set up ready for your arrival.
