The Property
This beautiful, traditional stone chalet is located just outside the heart of Val d'Isere. Combining contemporary living with a traditional Alpine feel, this property could be the perfect place for your next luxury ski escape!
The main open-plan living space, situated on the first floor of this chalet, gives a seamless transition between the living, dining and kitchen areas. You will feel welcomed into this cosy spot, complete with high-quality furnishings. Socialise on the sumptuous sofas, whilst the nominated cook conjures up the evening's speciality in the fully-equipped kitchen. The dining room, comfortably seating the whole group, offers a great space for hosting the evening meal.
An exposed stone fireplace, which takes centre stage in front of the large floor to ceiling windows, also features on the first floor. Feel warm, protected and sheltered away from the snowy storms outside. When the storms have passed, the terrace area presents a perfect place to capture a closer look at the woodland and mountain regions surrounding you.
For post-dinner relaxation, the outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub invites you to soothe any aching muscles. Dry off and head inside to watch the latest blockbuster movie, in the chalet's very own cinema room, the perfect way to end a long day on the slopes!
In total, Chalet Akaroa accommodates for up to 12 guests across its 5 bedrooms. Each bedroom is fitted with a modern en-suite bathroom and independent WC, for that extra convenience. A family bedroom, consisting of a: double bed, bunk bed and cot, ensures this chalet is perfect for groups of friends or families.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests, on a self-catered basis. Concierge and daily housekeeping are also included in the price.
Location
Chalet Akaroa is situated in Le Fornet - an idyllic hamlet at the top end of Val d'Isere. Just 100 metres from the closest Fornet ski lift, and an equal distance from the closest Mangard ski slopes, ensures you will be maximising your time spent on the slopes.
In regards to local amenities, the very centre of Val d'Isere is located just a 5 minute drive away, for a full range of bars, restaurants and shops. There are also regular buses between Le Fornet and Val d'Isere centre, free to use with your full area ski pass.
