The Property
Chalet Genepy in Val d'Isère is a luxury chalet with swimming pool in an exclusive area of the resort, sleeping up to 10 adults and 4 children across 6 bedrooms. This stylish, spacious home has a traditional atmosphere with a luxury quality, making for a cosy and welcoming chalet for ski holidays with families and friends.
The chalet is set over three levels, with the middle floor housing the properties main living spaces. Weathered wood interiors foster an authentic chalet vibe, with an open fireplace of exposed stone accentuating this charming, homely feel. Distinguished leather sofas congregate around the warmth of the fire for relaxation, while across this open-plan space you'll also find the dining space with seating for up to 10 guests. Tucked away from the lounge is a kitchen, a fully-equipped area well-suited for your meal preparations. A south-facing balcony extends off the lounge, providing a suitable spot to get some fresh alpine air and admire pretty views of the surrounding mountains and charming village of Val d'Isère.
Chalet Genepy boasts some delightful wellness features on its ground floor level, offering a comforting and serene area to unwind after skiing. The main highlight is the indoor swimming pool, where you'll feel like you're relaxing in the heart of a mountain as you do laps in this enclosed space carved out of the natural rock. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a Hammam for additional rejuvenating benefits.
In addition to these wellness features, Chalet Genepy has a TV snug tucked off the main living spaces, ideal for entertaining younger guests or for anyone who prefers a quiet night in the chalet, an evening off from exploring the wonderful nightlife of Val d'Isère.
Across five double bedrooms and a bunk room, Chalet Genepy has the capacity for a maximum of 14 guests. The bedrooms have a sophisticated style that marries sumptuous furnishings with authentic wood interiors. The majority of the bedrooms have private en-suite facilities, including one with a freestanding bathtub and semi open-plan shower area. The bunk bedroom and one of the other bedrooms on the ground floor share a separate shower room. The snug bunk bedroom makes Chalet Genepy an appealing option for multiple family groups with little ones, although the beds are adult-sized should any larger adult groups be comfortable with this arrangement.
The chalet comes equipped with a ski room and boot warmers. There is an elevator between the ground and first floors, with the top floor accessible by stairs only.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 10 guests and is offered with a contactless catering service and in-resort shuttle service to and from the lifts each day. Up to 4 additional guests can be accommodated for a supplement, and empty bed/children discounts apply.
The chalet is also available for up to 14 guests on a self catered basis to include an in-resort ski lift shuttle service and mid-stay cleaning.

Location
Chalet Genepy has a peaceful location in the prestigious Petit Alaska area of Val d'Isère, a private area that is still in good reach of the local resort amenities.
From the chalet, it is a 4-minute drive to the main snow front of Val d'Isère. Here you will find the main lifts, including the Solaise gondola and Olympique cable car, ski school meeting points, a free beginner's chairlift, and a variety of slopeside cafés and bars. 4 minutes in the shuttle will also bring you down to La Daille, where the La Daille gondola or Funival train will bring you into the ski area to start your day.
Chalet Genepy is just 5-minutes walk from the centre of Val d'Isère, where a number of wonderful restaurants, lively bars, and a mixture of shops await to be explored.

As the world is becoming increasingly contactless, they have designed a solution to meet everyone's needs, by offering different levels of service that allow your stay to be tailored to specific requests.
Your premium chalet will be ready on arrival with beds made, dinner ready, fridges stocked, ski equipment booked and lift passes delivered. They will prepare everything behind the scenes but only be a phone call away for anything you need. This modern twist on chalet holidays ensures both safety and comfort for you and your family during your winter getaway.
When taken on a self-catered basis, a mid-stay clean with towel change is included, as well as end of stay cleaning, a welcome basket, and firewood.
The contactless catered service offers a more effortless holiday experience, with guests greeted to a Champagne reception upon arrival at your luxury ski chalet. In addition to the self-catered inclusions, guests will receive the luxury of having the supplies you need for each meal, including; breakfast every morning, afternoon snacks, pre-dinner nibbles and dinner for six evenings. Breakfast each morning consists of a selection of hot and cold provisions, stocked prior to your arrival in the chalet. Afternoon snacks and pre-dinner nibbles will also be waiting for you in the chalet, with a selection of complimentary drinks (including wine, beer and port) also available to enjoy before your meals. On five evenings, you will receive prepared meals by the local Savoyard Delicatessen and the remaining night will be a raclette style meal. This means you can skip the hassle of meal planning and ingredient hunting and let the team take care of everything. All orders will be made with Savoyard delicatessens and supermarkets.
Additional services are available on request. For an additional charge, you can add on a daily cleaning service, keeping the chalet fresh and tidy throughout your stay, or perhaps a private chef and chalet host to provide you the desirable catered experience. Please enquire.
