The Property
Chalet Ours Noir in Val d'Isere is a fantastic 220m² chalet that can accommodate 8-10 guests across 5 bedrooms, featuring cosy living spaces and wellness facilities for the entire group to enjoy. The chalet resides in a central location, offering incredible proximity to everything that Val d'Isere has to offer.
Rustic alpine design fused with modern elements create an inviting space to enter on the top floor living area of Chalet Ours Noir. Large windows surround filtering through light, with sloped ceilings setting the mood for cosy evenings in. The serene ambiance is enhanced by the warm fireplace, meaning guests can unwind together and watch their favourite film. The kitchen dining area includes a spacious dining table, as well as a roomy breakfast bar for some casual conversation. After your delicious homemade meals each night, the sliding glass doors welcome you out onto the spacious balcony, where you can enjoy the outdoor seating with a nice drink and glance at the mountain peaks that surround.
After an adventurous day of exploring the snowy terrain of Val d'Isere, take a moment of solace by relaxing in the steam room that resides on the lowest floor of the chalet, ideal for melting away any tension and completing full restoration.
At Chalet Ours Noir, the five bedrooms are shared between two floors. The typical wooden alpine design floods through into each bedroom, creating a hideaway feel. The four double bedrooms are all partnered with contemporary en-suites for your benefit. Three double bedrooms can also be configured as twin rooms in order to cater for different groups. The final bedroom is a children's room that contains bunk beds and can sleep two, which will make use of one of the bedrooms en-suites on this floor.
To make each day easier at Chalet Ours Noir, a ski room, garage, elevator and laundry facilities are all available.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a self-catered basis to include basic mid-stay housekeeping.
Please note, the chalet only offers pre-arrival assistance and in-resort concierge services when you opt into a concierge package. Should you opt in, additional services will be able to be arranged for you on request. (Package upgrades also available).
Location
Chalet Ours Noir sits in a highly enviable position, exceptionally close to the Val d'Isère snow front, just 100 metres from the Savonnette 1 T-bar.
Taking the Savonnette 1 up will allow you to traverse and ski down to quickly access the main Solaise gondola and the Olympique cable car, which is also used as a meeting point for ski schools. Chalet Ours Noir is ideal for beginners as it sits nearby the nursery slopes of Savonnette and Village. For the Après-ski lovers, Chalet Markhor is just 300 meters from the Cocorico Après-ski bar, making the walk home much easier taking just 4 minutes across the snow front.
Chalet Ours Noir is also close to the centre of Val d'Isère, taking just 4-minutes to walk into town, giving great access to a variety of boutiques bars, shops and restaurants to enjoy on your luxury ski holiday to Val d'Isère.

The essential service offered by this team on a wide number of luxury chalets and apartments is designed to maximise the enjoyment of your stay without having to worry about any of the practicalities. Extra care is taken on the little details that make the difference. All the essentials are taken care of, from bed linen on arrival, luxury bathroom products, towels, with a special welcome pack sure to put a smile on your face. Alongside this, the property has twice-weekly basic housekeeping to ensure the property remains in great condition throughout your stay.
At this luxury property, a concierge service is available on an opt-in basis. Should you wish for some form of pre-arrival and in-resort assistance, there are three levels of services available to you:
The Snow Pass covers your ski essentials, including the organisation of ski passes delivered to your accommodation and ski equipment hire for the duration of your holiday.
The Booking Pass includes everything that the Snow Pass does, with further assistance in booking numerous activities. From restaurant reservations on the mountain and in resort, to all important ski lessons for members of your party, and the organisation of grocery and bakery deliveries, the Booking Pass will have you covered. The team will also help with transfers to and from resort, arranging childcare for families with children, and booking of other non-skiing activities.
The most comprehensive option, the Serenity Pass, covers the first two passes alongside any additional chalet services. Catering options such as meal deliveries, private chefs, and butler services, as well as private transport options during your holiday can be arranged with the Serenity Pass.
Please note, additional cleaning services can be added without the need for any of the passes. The concierge passes allow for assistance with these services, but extra charges for these additional services will still apply. You can opt-in to or upgrade the concierge services at any time before or during your holiday, but for the optimum assistance, it is recommended you do so at the time of booking, so your in-resort team can best meet your requirements.
