The Property

Chalet Zen is a fabulous chalet sitting in the world-class resort of Zermatt. Accommodating for up to 10 guests within 4 bedrooms, Chalet Zen is ideal groups looking for privacy, comfort, and proximity to Zermatt's centre. The chalet offers all the amenities of modern day living yet has retained its traditional feel of a home from home. Indeed, Chalet Zen is all about old-school luxury with antique furniture, rugs, and paintings giving it a wonderfully established feel.

An incredibly cosy open-plan living and dining area with ample space for guests to rest their legs after a long day on the slopes. A second living and dining area sits on the second floor in an open-plan design, the bottom floor common space allows for relaxed après-ski drinks gathered around a fire to share stories of your adventures of the day. The living area on the top floor offers a magnanimous view of Matterhorn through the floor-to-ceiling windows which frame the valley. Vaulted ceilings expose wooden beams, adding to the antique aesthetic Chalet Zen is known for. Pick a book from the chalets well-stocked library and defrost around the chalets second fireplace. The chalet's large, fully fitted kitchen gives the group's appointed chef a chance to create culinary masterpieces for the large family meals. The bottom floor opens up to a large terrace area, for an intimate view of the valley. A balcony space is also accessible from the living space on the second floor, offering a new observation angle for guests. Guests won't need to travel far to start their après-ski, Chalets Zen's very own bar area allows for guests to put their mixology skills to the test, all that's left is to pick where to enjoy your drink.

Chalet Zen's massage room allows for guests to get some deep muscle therapy after a tough day on the slopes. Out on the terrace space sits a sauna made from a refurbished gondola cabin, and a sunken hot tub. Both spa facilities on the terrace allow for guests to rejuvenate while gazing out at Matterhorn - truly no better background to relax to than this.

Chalet Zen hosts up to 10 guests across 4 bedrooms. The bedrooms all follow a similar design as the rest of the chalet, flaunting an antique design. Plush, comfortable bedding allows for guests to receive ample rest, keeping in top form for whatever the mountains have in store for you. Each of the four bedrooms features its own en-suite marble bathroom, three with balconies looking up to the mighty Matterhorn. There is also a bunk room as part of a family suite should your party be larger than eight guests.

For added convenience, a ski room with boot warmers is available for guest use. An internal elevator to take guests between floors in the chalet is also available. Laundry facilities are also available.

Chalet Zen can also be booked together with Zen Penthouse for up to 16 guests on a bed and breakfast basis to include housekeeping. Please request for prices and availabilities.

The prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and can include full chalet catering service with complimentary drinks and in-resort electro-taxi on arrival & departure.

A self-catered or bed and breakfast option is also available, which include daily housekeeping and mid-week linen change.
