Chalet Baltoro is a perfect balance of contemporary style and alpine tradition. Encompassing three floors and 550m² of space, the main living areas of Chalet Baltoro can be found on its top level. A vast space of high ceilings, constructed with light wood and classic stone, the open-plan living spaces celebrate mountain heritage, with high-class luxury furnishings mixed with stylish, thematic decor relating to the K2 region and the Alps. The luxurious lounge is focused around the warming fireplace, built into a feature stone wall, sitting central to the room between a large formal dining space and a convivial bar area. The chalet comes equipped with a large, modern kitchen set just off the dining area. The main living floor opens out onto a capacious terrace, where you can enjoy uninterrupted views down the ski slopes towards the resort of Courchevel 1850.
On the bottom level, the chalet features a delightful spa area for guests to unwind in. The relaxing spa area entices guests with soothing wellness treatments, with the main highlight being the indoor swimming pool, which comes with hydrotherapy jets, waterfall features and a counter-current jet system to swim against. There is also a steam room, cooling shower and even access to a terrace down in this spa area.
After a calming dip in the pool, head back up to the top floor for an evening of entertainment. Grab some refreshing drinks from the bar area to start your night and then either head out to better explore Courchevel 1850, retire to the TV lounge area of the main living floor and the cinema space in the pool room for a movie night or binge session of your favourite boxsets, or lose yourself in a good book in the library space of the stunning Chalet Baltoro.
Chalet Baltoro sleeps up to 10 guests across its five double bedrooms. Four of these bedrooms are found on the middle sleeping floor, sharing the luxury of a wide balcony and each completed with a polished en-suite bath or shower room. The last bedroom occupies a space adjacent to the spa area on the bottom floor, also with terrace access and en-suite bathroom with shower. The bedrooms are all generously sized, with a refined style that oozes elegant luxury.
In addition to the wonderful facilities in your private chalet, guests of Chalet Baltoro will also get to enjoy the 5* facilities of Hotel Le K2 Palace. These include a colossal spa area with a wealth of facilities; an indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, Hammam, massage treatment rooms, hair salon and fitness centre. There are several places to eat and drink, from the gourmet food of the 2 Michelin Star Le Sarkara to the Peruvian delights of L'Altiplano, as well as a hotel bar and the cigar lounge of the Winston Klub. There are games and play rooms with tons to do for kids, as well as the multipurpose K'Baret, which can be set up as everything from a nightclub to a cinema.
Chalet Baltoro features an internal elevator running between its floors. There is parking to be found in an underground garage and a ski room for equipment storage.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and includes full gourmet catering service (daily breakfast, daily afternoon tea & either lunch OR dinner), private butler service and full use of the adjoining 5* Hotel Le K2 Palace facilities, spa and in-resort driver shuttle. Drinks are not included and are paid in addition at the end of the stay.
