The Property
Chalet Herisson in La Tania is a luxury ski-in/ski-out mountain chalet with modern interiors and a classic alpine character. Accommodating 8 guests across 4 en-suite bedrooms, this chalet is the idyllic alpine escape for friends and families looking to explore the 3 Vallées ski area.
Chalet Herisson is split across three floors, the top floor being dedicated to the chalet's common space, consisting of an open-plan living area, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Crafted from noble materials of wood and stone, the chalet's light and loft living area features vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, paying homage to the alpine heritage of the build. The room is surrounded by large windows on 3 sides, allowing for plenty of natural light to permeate and illuminate the space. The windows frame the surrounding valley and mountains from multiple angles, offering guests a plethora of magnificent views to appreciate. Comfortable sofas invite you to rest your legs after a long day on the slopes, take a moment to defrost beside the roaring fireplace as you share stories of your day's adventures. Adjacent, a sleek kitchen and central island splits the room in two, isolating the dining table, giving a cosy feel to your family meals. A separate TV lounge creates a second entertainment area, where guests can escape to this area for a more relaxed downtime to catch up on a favourite show or enjoy some light reading. The living area opens out onto a terrace on one end of the room and a balcony on the other side.
Leading out onto the terrace, Chalet Herisson's private hot tub offers guests an immersive panoramic viewing experience of the surrounding valley. Enjoy a glass of your favourite vintage as the fatigue washes from your body.
Chalet Herisson accommodates 8 guests across 4 double bedrooms, all complete with en-suite facilities. The bedrooms fall in line with the alpine-chic design of the chalet, pairing noble wood with crisp white paint to give an alpine living feel. Modern furnishings and plush bedding ensure guests receive ample rest during their stay. Each room can also be made as a twin, easily accommodating your group's needs. The TV lounge also has a sofa bed, which could be used on request to accommodate one extra guest.
For added convenience, a ski room with boot warmers is available for guests to allow for a return/departure from your ski-in/ski-out chalet.
The price is based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and is offered fully catered (dinner service on 5 nights) with selected complimentary drinks and in-resort driver service. Up to one additional guest may be accommodated on request at extra charge, please enquire.
This chalet can also be taken on a flexi-catering service, with 2 fine dining meals, 3 relaxed bistro menu dinner, daily breakfast and daily afternoon tea, plus an in-resort driver service. Please enquire.
Location
Chalet Herrison in La Tania is situated on the edge of the Moretta Blanche piste, in a private cul-de-sac. With the slopes only few steps from the chalet's boot room, guests can depart to and from this ski-in/ski-out chalet with ease!
The resort centre is under a 10 minute walk or a 4 minute chauffeured drive. Here, you'll find a nursery slope, ski schools and the main La Tania gondola station, connecting you to the rest of the 3 valleys ski area. The centre of La Tania offers a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants to explore.

This lovely chalet is run by a team who are based in La Tania all year round, this ensures they have an unparalleled knowledge of the resort and ski industry enabling them to offer an exceptional service. The team take pride in being personally involved in the day to day running of the individual chalets. They guarantee the very finest in bespoke, luxury chalet service to meet individual client needs.
Each of their chalets has a dedicated and experienced team who will look after you for the week. They are carefully chosen for their passion for cooking, flair for entertaining and high level of customer care. The in-resort driver is on call all day and will drop you to the foot of the slopes or pick you up from the bar. Just get in touch to request the service.
During your stay you will be well catered for by a qualified chef who has trained in fine dining and will be on hand 5 days during your stay to cook your meals. Their chef team comes from some of the hottest restaurants around, including many with Michelin stars! You can expect a hearty, healthy breakfast, indulge in a slice of tasty homemade cake in the afternoon, and sit down to a delicious and imaginative four-course meal served alongside wines from our carefully selected list.
A 'best-of-both' service can also be offered for guests looking for more flexibility. This is a family-friendly mix of catering with a couple of special evenings of gourmet catering courtesy of your own professional chef. Dinner on these evenings starts in style with champagne and canapés. On a further 3 evenings, a chef will produce quality home cooked meals for a relaxed dinner together. You then have the freedom to explore the best restaurants in resort on your remaining nights; the best of all worlds! You can expect a hearty, healthy breakfast each day (cooked on 5 mornings, with a continental, buffet breakfast on 2 days), and indulge in a slice of tasty homemade cake in the afternoon...plenty of delicious food to enjoy throughout your stay!
