Chalet Chatel in Megève is a traditional alpine chalet in an idyllic location, accommodating up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms. This 250m² mountain farmhouse, refurbished in a way that maintains its charm and authenticity, offers a dream destination for a luxury ski holiday to Megève with family or friends.
On entrance, you are greeted by an open-plan living area, consisting of a large dining area and a cosy lounge space. Traditional wood interiors and antique decorations and furnishings fill the space, imbuing it with a rich sense of history and character. Two comfortable sofas sit before an authentic open fireplace, fostering a cosy and inviting atmosphere in which to rest your legs after a long day on the slopes of Megève. Further relaxation can be found in the "petit salon", a secondary, smaller lounge space separated from the main living room by the chalet's dining space. The kitchen maintains the rustic theme, found in a separate room adjacent to the main living areas, the perfect area to whip up some homemade mountain meals. Through traditional French doors you can gain access to the chalet's bucolic garden space, a tranquil space surrounded by woodland where you can enjoy the fresh air and serene atmosphere.
Chalet Chatel comes well-equipped with a number of wellness features to help you unwind after a long day on the slopes. Located outside the property, an authentic Nordic hot tub awaits to sink into its warm and soothing waters and ease any aches and pains after a day exploring the Megève ski area. For guests in need of deeper muscle therapy, a massage treatment area is available. Finish the day with a quick rejuvenation session in the sauna for a complete, well-rounded session of wellbeing.
Chalet Chatel houses 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 guests in total. The bedrooms all follow the same Savoyard design as the rest of the chalet, abundant in rustic alpine charm. All cosy and beautifully furnished, each room has an en-suite bathroom and a double bed. The master bedroom features a majestic four-poster bed and access to a private balcony for that added luxury. Bedrooms in Chaet Chatel can be found across the top and bottom levels of the home.
For added convenience, the chalet has a ski room, laundry room, and garage parking.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a bed & breakfast basis with afternoon tea and daily housekeeping.

Situated in the Demi-Quartier area of Megève, Chalet Chatel is a luxury chalet offering its guests a peaceful location with good driving access to the nearest ski lifts and the resort centre.
The chalet sits just a 3-minute drive up to the Princesse gondola in Demi-Quartier, which brings you to the top of Mont d'Arbois in the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. A 5-minute drive brings you to the Jaillet gondola for access to the Jaillet side of the ski area. Alternatively, 8-minutes by car will bring you to the Mont d'Arbois area above Megève, with the Mont d'Arbois gondola to take you to the top of the mountain, or the Rocharbois cable car to head over to the Rochebrune side of skiing.
You'll find a few local shops and a pizzeria just outside the chalet's front doors. To reach the centre of Megève, a chic and cosmopolitan resort with upmarket bars, stylish cafés, gourmet restaurants, and plenty of shopping and other activities, you only need to drive around 7-minutes. Alternatively, you can also choose to explore the village of COmbloux, about 5-minute drive in the other direction.

Having just returned from a four day trip to Megève, I can confirm that its reputation as a beautifully preseved and gloriously sunny resort is certainly true! Granted, I travelled in the height of summer and there was apparently one almighty thunder storm the day before we landed, but our time there couldn't have been better....
