This Savoyard chalet respects its heritage as a mountain retreat in both architecture and interior design, flaunting wooden beams and making use of noble materials of wood and stone.
The chalet is spread over 3 levels, allowing you to enjoy use of the large lounge area with exposed beams, the crackling of the open fire in the dining room and your bedroom with its own Jacuzzi. You are welcomed by a large lounge with exposed beams, a stunning fireplace and desk area grouped in the centre of the chalet. Natural light seeps in through the windows, illuminating the space and breathing life into the build. Vaulted ceilings bring a sense of grandeur. The adjoining dining room opens out onto a large private terrace, offering guests an intimate, uninterrupted views of the surrounding valley. With an intimate, covered terrace, an alternative to the dining room when the time is right, a fully equipped kitchen (also with its own eating area), the Chalet des Fermes offers a host of little places to enjoy breakfast and afternoon tea. Large, comfortable sofas invite guests to rest their legs after a long day on the slopes.
The private spa adds to the indulgence of your stay. You will most likely find yourself slipping into the hot tub, with a glass of wine to accompany as you soak. A sauna session will rejuvenate you between slope runs. For guests looking to get a deeper muscle therapy treatment, a small gym with fitness equipment is on hand, alternatively, a massage session will help iron out any kinks, ensuring you are in top form for your mountain adventures.
Chalet des Fermes can accommodate up to 10 guests across 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms all follow the same overall style of the chalet, visible wood beams and vaulted ceilings being present in select rooms, however they do express unique themes. The master bedroom, with an open-plan bathroom and large walk-in-wardrobe, takes up the whole floor and offers stunning views of the Jaillet mountain range, which is also visible from the bedroom on the ground floor, with sloping ceilings and a clean-cut, contemporary décor. The 3 bedrooms at ground level, with blue, red and orange themes, have been designed for the ultimate in cosiness. All bedrooms contain plush, comfortable bedding to ensure a good night's rest for guests.
The Chalet des Fermes has an underground access which directly connects to the Fermes de Marie hotel. You can thus benefit from the hotel's 5-star services: restaurants, Pure Altitude Spa, Hameau des Enfants (The kid's club) and Ski Shop.
For added convenience, guests have access to a ski room with boot warmers as well as garage parking being available.
The rates are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a bed and breakfast basis with afternoon tea and concierge services.

Chalet des Fermes de Marie in Megève sits in a private hamlet just a few minutes from the village centre. The nearest ski lift is the Chamois lift is a short 6 minute drive away, taking you further up the mountain and deeper into the vast Portes du Mont Blanc ski area. The chalet sits a 4-minute drive from the Mont D'Arbois ski lift and a 6-minute drive from the Princesse ski lift.
Guests at the chalet can use the hotel's shuttle service to get to and from the lifts or the village centre in just a few minutes. The chalet sits just a 5-minute walk from the centre of town where you will find a great collection of luxury shops, fine-dining restaurants and lively après-ski bars.

Having just returned from a four day trip to Megève, I can confirm that its reputation as a beautifully preseved and gloriously sunny resort is certainly true! Granted, I travelled in the height of summer and there was apparently one almighty thunder storm the day before we landed, but our time there couldn't have been better....
