The Property
Chalet La Folie is a spacious five-bedroom luxury ski chalet in Méribel, sleeping 10 guests, featuring alpine style interiors with a mix of modern contemporary style. Across its four floors, this chalet poses an ideal base for families, friends and corporate ski holidays, with plenty of character and a long list of deluxe wellness and entertainment facilities that are sure to impress!
The spacious open-plan living area sits on the first floor of the Chalet La Folie. Adorned with wooden cladding, inviting soft furnishings and a multitude of picture windows, this space adopts a homely feel that's perfect for all the group to unwind. There's a seamless flow between each of the lounge, dining and kitchen areas. Deep comfortable sofas welcome tired legs around the glowing fireplace, with an adjacent bar area perfect for a post-ski beverage. Around the corner lies a wooden dining table and modern kitchen, with breakfast bar, where all mealtimes can be prepared and enjoyed. There's a secondary smaller table, ideal for card games after dinner, or alternatively, sliding doors will lead out onto a large terrace facing south and west to admire the beautiful snowy mountain backdrop.
The ground floor of Chalet La Folie is a hub of relaxation and entertainment. Guests will relish the use of the bubbling outdoor hot tub, looking out to the magical Méribel valley, and an indoor sauna, to further let the warmth work out any tension built up days' skiing in the Three Valleys. There's also a fitness room, equipped with an exercise bike, rowing machine, dumbbells and yoga mats, for a slightly alternative post-ski cooldown session.
Chalet La Folie's games room has plenty to keep everyone entertained. Also found on the chalet's ground floor, this room comes complete with table football, a billiards table, darts and a TV snug for movie nights. It's the perfect hangout for guests looking for evening activities in the chalet, or for a teen hideaway!
Perfect for groups of 10 guests, Chalet La Folie's five inviting bedrooms allow for undisturbed night's rests. The rooms are homely and light, decorated with light tones and bright furnishings that meticulously fill the spaces. All bedrooms have access to a shared or a private balcony, and the ground floor bedroom has access to the terrace with the outdoor hot tub. In addition, all except one bedroom, have en-suite amenities. For flexible sleeping configurations, four of the double bedrooms can be split into twin bed arrangements.
For your convenience, Chalet La Folie has two outdoor parking spaces for self-driving guests, as well as a ski room with boot warmers to store equipment.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests to include full chalet catering, selected complimentary drinks and in-resort driver service.
Location
Chalet La Folie sits in a highly desirable position for skiing in Méribel, just below the Rond Point. The blue Doron piste is found 150 metres away from the property, for a short ski down to Méribel's central Chaudanne lift hub and ski school meeting point. Alternatively, you can reach the Chaudanne in 4 minutes by car.
The chalet lies a 4-minute drive to 'Le Plateau' where there are a few specialist shops and infamous Le Rond Point après-ski bar is located. Alternatively, for the same amount of time, guests can travel to Méribel centre and explore a wider choice of shops, bars, restaurants and sports centre 'Parc Olympique'.

There is more to a good skiing holiday than just good skiing. Good skiing combined with a great location, a personal service, fantastic staff and a chalet you want to come home to is the key to success. It's this operator's aim to provide all the above and a little bit more.
You will be well looked over and made to feel at home from the moment you arrive. Upon arrival, tea and cake or champagne and canapés will be waiting for you, as the team take your luggage, organise ski fitting and passes and make you feel at home. And prior to arrival, your concierge will make sure your trip is left untouched: from organising ski lessons, childcare, transfers, lunches or anything in between. Guests also receive a 10% discount on ski hire with one of the trusted in-resort partners, should you wish to rent equipment when you arrive at your holiday.
Catered ski holidays are all about the food! With chefs trained in a Michelin star restaurant, this operator's catering promises to create the food you love from the moment of your pre-holiday call. To keep you energised for days on the slopes, five mornings come complete with fresh pastries, cooked breakfasts, porridge, granola, yoghurts, fruit and even a daily changing chef's special. On the remaining two mornings, the only thing missing is the chef to cook you a hot breakfast, but you're sure to be filled up on the other available options for a day's skiing in the Three Valleys! Afternoon tea, consisting of a good cup of tea and a slice of freshly baked cake or a savoury treat, are perfect for warming up from your return from the slopes on 6 days. Pre-dinner delicious canapés, accompanied by unlimited access to an extensive alcoholic and soft drinks list, are served prior to a delightful culinary experience of 4-course evening meals paired with quality wines, on 5 nights of your stay. For those family ski holidays, an earlier, home-cooked children's high tea can also be organised for younger members of the group.
To make navigating the village simple, whether you have non-skiers, little children or different people needing to head to various places, then the driver service is a welcome addition. The driver service will be available to you each day from 8am. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the driver's service will run until 10pm, while on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the service ends at 8pm instead. And for when you return to your chalet, after long ski days, the regular housekeeping service ensures your alpine home from home is kept in a clean and tidy manner.
