The Property

Chalet La Varappe in Méribel is a luxury ski chalet for groups of 10-12 guests, a traditional and characterful property in a peaceful location in the Mussilon area of resort. With five spacious bedrooms, plus an extra sleeping area under the eaves, inviting living spaces, and some good additional facilities like the outdoor hot tub, Chalet La Varappe makes for a wonderful choice for your next family ski holiday in Méribel.

Chalet La Varappe is set across three levels, with its middle, ground floor level hosting the chalet's main living area. The lounge has a unique charm to it, with vintage sofa seating and armchairs offering an inviting spot to curl up before the open stone hearth, the fireplace that provides a warm and cosy feeling throughout the room. Patterned furnishings and decorations give the space an individual character, with a similar motif found throughout the dining room that backs onto the lounge area. The large wooden dining table provides ample space for you and your group to indulge in catered mealtimes while catching up on the day's ski adventures. There is access to a terrace and snowy garden area from the lounge and dining space, a fabulous space to admire the scenic mountain views and breathe in the fresh alpine air.

Just off the entrance hall of Chalet La Varappe is another terraced space. This sheltered and private area plays host to the chalet's traditional cedar wood hot tub, a delightful feature to help you relax and unwind after a long day of skiing in Méribel. This is not the only wellness facility that the chalet boasts, as you will also have the option of a steam room located on the lower ground floor.

The lower ground floor also houses a snug TV lounge. Between the comfy sofas, games console, and varied movie selection, this is a fabulous area for guests wishing to enjoy a quiet night in at the chalet.

There are five double bedrooms to Chalet La Varappe, plus a children's bedroom in the eaves of the property, providing space for groups of 10-12 guests. The bedrooms showcase a style similar to the main living areas of the property, matching wood clad chalet interiors with charming, vintage furnishings of a distinctly English quality. Three of the five double bedrooms can also be taken as twin rooms, allowing for flexibility in sleeping arrangements, and each of these roomy abodes benefits from en-suite bath or shower rooms. Two extra children can be accommodated in a small attic area, with two small single beds and lowered ceilings.

Chalet La Varappe has its own ski room with boot warmers, laundry facilities, and private parking.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 10 adult guests and includes full gourmet catering for 5 nights, open bar and in-resort driver service. Up to two extra children can be accommodated on request. Empty bed and child discounts will apply, please enquire for details.
