The Property
Chalet La Tillette is a true authentic mountain retreat for those looking to leave the busy resorts behind, relax in tranquillity and enjoy being on the doorstep to some of France's most popular ski resorts. This luxury property offers ample space and 4 very comfortable en-suites for up to 9 guests.
On the ground floor, you are welcomed into a large split level living area. A cosy lounge offers plenty of seating on the large sofas for your whole group to relax together. In the daytime, a large, picturesque mountain backdrop can be enjoyed through the full height windows. In the evenings, the crackle and flickers of the fire will make a warming atmosphere to enjoy whilst sitting around with a drink of choice.
Leading off from the lounge area is the open-plan kitchen and dining area. With the fireplace being double-sided, you can still enjoy the warmth it brings around the dinner table. Enjoy interacting with your hosts as they lovingly prepare your meals in the modern kitchen adjacent. Being former British snowsport champions and huge enthusiasts for the local area, you will be sure to pick up great tips and routes for your next ski day!
Large French doors will also lead you out onto the terrace and into the gardens, where you can appreciate the south-facing views of both Les Arcs and Sainte Foy.
A separate TV room provides a second space to escape to if looking for a quiet retreat in the evenings.
Chalet La Tillette offers four spacious bedrooms, each with their own en-suites. Whilst three bedrooms are found on the first floor and each benefit an en-suite with a bath and shower, the remaining bedroom is on the second floor and has an en-suite shower room. It is possible to have one extra guest to take the chalet capacity up to 9 people by making one of the bedrooms into a triple. All rooms can be configured as a double or a twin to match your needs.
Outside, there is plenty of private parking, should you prefer to self-drive. There is also ski storage and boot warmers for all your ski gear.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and includes full chalet catering service and complimentary ski shuttle service to one of the local ski areas (Sainte Foy, Val d'Isere/Tignes, Les Arcs & La Rosiere). An extra guest can be accommodated on request at a 5% supplement.

Location
La Tillette occupies a privileged position in the prized Sainte Foy hamlet of la Masure, nestled on the mountainside, away from all the hustle and bustle of the big resorts, yet within a few minutes of an enormous choice of skiing and snowboarding.
The popular resorts of Sainte Foy, Tignes, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs (Paradiski) & La Rosiere (link to Italy) are all within just 10-20 minutes. Your dedicated chalet hosts offer a complimentary ski shuttle morning & afternoon to take you to your resort of choice for the day. There is also a free bus shuttle to Sainte Foy with a bus stop conveniently positioned outside the chalet.
Sainte Foy ski resort is just 10 minutes away (6km) and offers crowd-free pistes, a popular ski school, local shops and a small selection of restaurants, not to mention some great back country skiing possibilities, including one of the most popular off-piste routes finishing directly on La Tillette's doorstep!

This stunning chalet in Sainte Foy is run by hard-working and winter sport enthusiast team of the two chalet owners, Lloyd and Sarah. Both Lloyd and Sarah are former British snowsport champions and are very happy to welcome you to Sainte Foy. With a vast knowledge of the ski area, your fantastic hosts will be sure to give you the best recommendations for a day out on the pistes.
Each day, your hosts offer a complimentary morning and afternoon ski shuttle to one of the surrounding ski areas. Whilst you may choose to head to Sainte Foy as your closest resort, you are by no means restricted to this. In Sainte Foy, you can find great local ski schools for children and excellent back-country terrain for freeriders. Your hosts will also take you to Tignes Les Brevieres to access the skiing of Val d'Isere & Tignes, to the village of Villaroger or Bourg St Maurice for skiing in the Paradiski (Les Arcs & La Plagne) or even to La Rosiere to explore the Espace San Bernardo skiing which crosses over to La Thuile in Italy!
During your week, you can enjoy daily complimentary breakfasts and afternoon tea, as well as quality 3-course evening meals on 5 nights of your stay. The generous breakfasts include homemade preserves, freshly bakes croissants, eggs, breads, yoghurts, a selection of fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereals, porridge, a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. On your return at the end of the skiing day, homemade cake or biscuits and a big mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate will be waiting for you in front of the roaring log fire.
The evening meal consists of three courses, prepared as far as possible using locally sourced, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Some dishes will include produce grown in the garden at La Tillette! Meals are complimented by a selection of carefully selected bottled French wines. After dinner, coffee, tea or herbal infusions are then served in front of the log fire.
On the two staff night's off, your hosts will happily recommend some excellent local restaurants for you to try. Just 300m away from the chalet is the highly acclaimed Chez Merie Restaurant, which is always a popular choice for gourmet French cuisine! Unfortunately, the kitchen is not for guest use.
There are various options available for ski hire, all with the option of reserving online prior to your stay at Chalet Tillette. In Sainte Foy, there are several great ski schools, but these should be booked early to guarantee your place!
