The Property
Chalet Aster is a contemporary chalet in a ski in, ski out position near the traditional resort of St Gervais in a small hamlet of 4 chalets. Offering space to sleep up to 14 guests across 6 bedrooms, guests have access to both private wellness facilities, and shared spa facilities at the hotel in the village.
The living area is located on the ground floor of the chalet, with plenty of space for families. Complimenting the wooden walls and ceilings are modern furnishings and a selection of cosy sofas. Guests can take a seat here after a long day and relax in front of the open fireplace, which provides warmth throughout the chalet.
The open-plan kitchen diner can be accessed via a doorway in the lounge, where you are instantly greeted with a wave of light from the surrounding windows. Guests can take a seat on a bar stool whilst they watch the designated cook prepare a delicious meal, or enjoy a pre-dinner drink on the terrace.
Chalet Aster has its own private spa area in the basement of the chalet, where guests can enjoy being pampered. Here there is an indoor Jacuzzi, sauna, relaxation area and fitness room with Technology equipment including a treadmill and exercise bike.
Upstairs on the first floor of the chalet are 5 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom or shower room and in-keeping with the alpine chic style. Two of these rooms can be arranged as either a double or twin room, whilst the other 3 bedrooms are fixed doubles. A few of these rooms also have balconies. In the eaves of the chalet is the 6th bedroom, which has 4 single beds and is a great room for children.
Chalet Aster can be taken alongside Chalet Carline and Chalet Silène to sleep up to 36 guests. The chalets aren't connected, but they are located next door to each other, so could be a great option for extended groups.
During your stay at Chalet Aster, you also can benefit from the use of the luxury Hotel Armancette, facilities and spa, in the village. The hotel is a 8-minute drive away from the hamlet and the hotel can arrange to pick you up and drop you off to make use of their services. They have a range of facilities including a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds, an indoor overflow hot tub, two outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, steam room and gym, two restaurants, bar and kids club.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping and access to the Hotel L'Armancette facilities.
