Chalet Silène is one of three chalets within a small private hamlet on the outskirts of St Gervais. Sleeping up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 floors, guests are provided with their own private space with the luxury of having access to a private spa area and the facilities at the Armancette hotel.
The interior within Chalet Silène comprises a traditional wooden walls and floors, but has a range of contemporary furniture giving a modern touch. Within the living room there is a large open fireplace that is a combination of wood and stone, giving a homely feeling. Surrounding the fireplace are a collection of sofas with throws, cushions and blankets. Guests can ski back to the chalet and be cosied up around the fire within minutes.
The dining room is just behind the living area and is in keeping with the alpine theme. A carefully crafted wooden table takes centre stage, offering enough space for up to 12 guests to dine at one time. Separated from this space is the kitchen, fully equipped with the essentials for a self-catered stay. There is an outdoor terrace that can be accessed from the dining room through the sliding patio doors, offering great views of the Mont Blanc mountain range.
Upstairs on the first floor of the chalet are 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 guests. The first bedroom is a double with balcony and en-suite bathroom, the second is a double room with en-suite shower room. The third bedroom is a dormitory sleeping 4 guests and an en-suite shower room, perfect for any children in the group.
Guests staying in Chalet Silène have access to a shared wellness chalet located within the hamlet. Here, there is an indoor jacuzzi, sauna and a treatment room should you need to soothe any achy muscles.
Chalet Silène can be taken alongside Chalet Carline and Chalet Aster to sleep up to 36 guests. The chalets aren't connected, but they are located next door to each other, so could be a great option for extended groups.
During your stay at Chalet Silène, you also can benefit from the use of the luxury Hotel Armancette, facilities and spa, in the village. The hotel is a 8-minute drive away from the hamlet and the hotel can arrange to pick you up and drop you off to make use of their services. They have a range of facilities including a heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds, an indoor overflow hot tub, two outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, steam room and gym, two restaurants, bar and kids club.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping and access to the well-being chalet and Hotel L'Armancette facilities.
