The Property

Located less than 500 m from the nearest ski lift and centre of St Martin de Belleville, Chalet Markhor embodies the perfect luxury alpine retreat for a family ski holiday in France. Over 250m² of living space, the property incorporate elements of traditional mountain design and modern luxurious interiors, making it the perfect place to sleep 8 adults and 4 children.

Throughout the chalet, the traditional alpine architecture blends perfectly with the decoration and contemporary furniture. When walking upstairs, large floor to ceiling windows, will welcome you in the open-plan living area, amplified by the high presence of natural light from every angle. Relax around the fireplace and be sure to take in the amazing views of the mountains through the several windows, or warm yourself up with a hot tea while enjoying a good book.

On the opposite side of the living space, a classy dining area awaits to enjoy breakfast and evening meals, while catching up with family and friends, and planning the next day's activities. Nearby, a modern fully equipped open-plan kitchen is provided, allowing the nominated cook to prepare wholesome meals for everyone, giving the holiday a home away feeling.

To experience the mountains from outside, patio doors allows you to step out onto the impressive wrap-around terrace: here you can enjoy alfresco apéritifs while admiring the stunning landscape, or a late afternoon sunshine in the spring months and an outdoor lunch using the furniture provided.

After a long day of skiing up and down the slopes of the Three Valleys, you will be excited to come back to the chalet's ground floor: here an indoor Cedar hot tub and the large sauna will give you the chance to rest and enjoy a glass of Champagne in company of your group.

The traditional yet luxurious alpine design is also followed throughout the 6 spacious bedrooms, all complete of their own en-suite bathrooms or shower rooms. The ground floor offers space for three double bedrooms, one of which can be arranged as twin according to the desires of the group. There is also a bunk bedroom ideal to sleep four children, making the chalet perfect for two families planning their luxury ski holiday together. The fourth double bedroom is located on the first floor, while on the second floor you can find the large master bedroom, privileged with access to a private balcony, perfect to enjoy an alfresco morning coffee with stunning views. The rooms of Chalet Markhor, with their fabric curtains, cosy carpets, and fur plaids, ensure you with intimate spaces inviting you to rest and have a good night sleep.

To make sure your day on the snow begins at its best, the property includes a ski room with heated boot warmers, where you can leave your ski equipment to dry and be ready for your next day on the slopes. There are also laundry facilities for you to use. For those arriving with their own vehicle, Chalet Markhor provides a private garage.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis only.
