The Property
Chalet du Crêt is an elegant Alpine retreat. Once a cheese farm run by local monks, the chalet dates back to as early as 1632. Some of the chalet's original features have been lovingly preserved, including the beautiful chapel that nestles in the garden: age old stone and rustic timbers blend effortlessly with works of modern art, combining to create one of Val d'Isère's true jewels.
Lovingly restored a few years ago, all of the bedrooms possess an elegant and modern style for your complete comfort. The living area and TV rooms have also been revamped to add additional style and comfort. A kid's TV den, featuring grass floors and climbable walls, provides the ultimate hideaway for kids during the evenings to allow them to burn any extra energy before bedtime.
The living area is both spacious and cosy with a double height ceiling and a mezzanine above. At one end there is an open fire, in the middle a comfortable seating area and bar and closest to the kitchen, a dining table with space for twelve guests. The exposed beams, stonework and brushed wall panels provide an alpine theme for your stay.
The chalet sleeps twelve guests in six spacious en-suite bedrooms. The rooms can all be made up as super-king doubles or twins to give flexibility for different groups. All rooms are of a similar size and quality, with small differences in the new décor to give each room character.
The chalet's facilities afford every possible comfort, so whether you're returning to the chalet after a day on the hill or after discovering Val d'Isère's boutiques, the large outdoor hot tub, sauna and steam are the ideal tonic. A selection of sledges and games will also offer endless entertainment for the children. With two staff and one chauffeured 4x4 minibus, Chalet du Crêt is a haven for skiers and non-skiers alike.
Prices are based on exclusive occupancy of the chalet with full gourmet catering, and includes a professional chef, chalet hosting and housekeeping team, an in-resort driver, and the services of a concierge. The catered rate also includes complimentary ski instruction for the first two days of your stay.
This chalet is also available on a self-catered and bed & breakfast basis, with a daily housekeeping service included.
