The Property
Chalet Chene is a stunning luxury chalet in Val d'Isère with enviable facilities spread across four floors and 550m² of space. The chalet can welcome between 12 and 16 guests across seven bedrooms.
Resplendent in its design, the living space of Chalet Chene is found on its top floor. Rich colourful sofas surround the feature stone fireplace that draws all attention towards it. Tall vaulted wooden ceilings made of reclaimed wood embodies the classic Alpine charm that this living area exudes. Expansive windows flood the room with outside light or you can choose to close the thick curtains to give the room more of a cosy mountain feel. Adjacent to the lounge in an open plan space is the dining area of the chalet. The long dining table is surrounded by quirky furniture while an island worktop with a funky light fixture looks like it's been plucked straight out of a novel by H.G Wells, all of this adding to this chalet's unique personality. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a breakfast bar for additional dining space. This floor also has a terrace where you can enjoy the winter sun as you sip on your favourite after ski drink.
Located on the ground floor of Chalet Chene, the deluxe spa area provides everything you need to unwind after a day exploring the slopes of Val d'Isère. With a sauna, steam room and indoor pool available to use in this private spa, as well as a massage cabin for those guests looking for additional relaxation treatments, you will find yourself well recovered for the following day of skiing.
For an evening of entertainment, head to Chalet Chene's underground floor where you can enjoy a movie night in the cinema room. The tartan walls are more reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands than the French Alps but with plush sofas and an entire wall dedicated to the screen this is the ideal spot to relax as you put on your favourite movie and let yourself be transported to another world for a few hours.
There are seven bedrooms spread over two of Chalet Chene's four floors, each one as smartly furnished and elegant as the rest. They all have well-designed en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers. Two of these double bedrooms are found on the ground floor, sharing the same floor as the private spa area while four more double bedrooms are located on the floor above. The last bedroom is suitable for four people with two single beds and a charming bunk bed making this the perfect space for children to sleep in.
Chalet Chene has a private ski room to store all your equipment when returning from the mountains. There is lift access across all the floors and garage parking available for guests who wish to drive to the resort.
Being part of the La Mourra hamlet, guests benefit from having access to the facilities and services of La Mourra Hotel Village as well as the Hotel spa.
For larger groups, there are 8 additional suites in the hotel, or you could choose to book another of the 5 private chalets here; Chalet Ambre, Chalet Ebene, Chalet Sequoia, Chalet La Grange. Each chalet benefits from its own private spa facilities and the chalets are all connected underground to the hotel for ease of getting from one to another.
Prices are for exclusive use of the chalet for up to 16 guests on a fully catered basis, use of the connecting Hotel La Mourra's facilities, spa and driver shuttle service.
Location
Chalet Chene is part of La Mourra Hotel Village, located in the Old Town of Val d'Isère on the Avenue du Prariond, just a few minutes walk to the many shops, bars and restaurants.
The chalet sits just 250m away from the snow front where you will find the main ski lifts, Solaise and Bellevarde and the ski school meeting point. The walk to the lifts is around an 8-10 minute walk away, but you can also use the driver shuttle service which can shorten this to under 2 minutes!

A butler is on hand to deliver your breakfast service in the chalet every day from around 7:30am to 11am. This butler then returns with a chef, specialising in French cooking, who will deliver your in-chalet meal service from approximately 6pm to 11pm. Starters, mains and desserts will be ordered off a chosen menu, 24 hours in advance, in order to provide the freshest ingredients for your delicious evening meals. The team are attentive to each guest, adapting to any dietary requirements. A room service menu is also available 24/7.

The La Mourra wellness centre is available to all clients staying at the hotel or one of the 5 chalets. For ultimate relaxation guests can enjoy the 17m pool, sauna or Hammam. They offer a large menu of treatments by Susanne Kaufmann and also offer a made to measure service to match any personal request, ski types or desires. Their physiotherapists also offer a menu including sports massages.
Le Bar & Le Restaurant
Offering a relaxed atmosphere with dimmed lighting, Scottish tartan carpets and velvet armchairs, there is a muted ambience to enjoy here. La Mourra offers their esteemed guest a driver service within Val d'Isère. The shuttle is available from 7.30am - 11.30pm and can take you anywhere in the village.
