Chalet Ambre is spread over five floors offering accommodation for up to 12 guests. With a traditional and contemporary design, this luxury chalet in Val d'Isère provides 5* services and facilities both private to the chalet and shared with the connecting Hotel La Mourra.
The open plan living and dining areas can be found on the second floor of the chalet. The vaulted ceilings of reclaimed wood help give this space a traditional mountain feel while patterned sofas, curtains and rugs help give Chalet Ambre unique character. A sleek, black glass-fronted fireplace sits in the heart of the lounge and rounds off the cosy log cabin vibe. Flowing out of the lounge takes you to the kitchen and dining spaces. A long dining table fit for 12 sits besides large windows that showers the space with natural light. The kitchen comes fully-equipped along with a distinguished black and wood design.
On the bottom, underground floor of Chalet Ambre is where you will discover the private spa. Providing the perfect space to unwind after a busy day of skiing in Val d'Isère, you'll have an abundance of choice in where to recuperate your aching muscles. The swimming pool can be used to cool off after spending a prolonged rest in the sauna or the hammam. There is also a massage room should you wish to indulge in a little bit of extra pampering.
Chalet Ambre has five bedrooms, spread between the three upper floors of the chalet. The bedrooms are all stately and sophisticated, with a style that blends classic Alpine chalet and grand English manor to stylish effect; they all come with lavish en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers. The top floor is a lone double bedroom with a private balcony. A double bedroom on the same floor as the living areas has extra seating space should you wish to lounge about with a bit more privacy. The first floor houses two double bedrooms and a third bedroom that can sleep 4 people in total with a double bed and a separate area with bunk beds.
For convenience, the chalet has its own private ski room and lift and there are two car parking spaces in the underground car park.
Being part of the La Mourra hamlet, guests benefit from having access to the facilities and services of La Mourra Hotel Village as well as the Hotel spa.
For larger groups, there are 8 additional suites in the hotel, or you could choose to book another of the 5 private chalets here; Chalet Chene, Chalet Ebene, Chalet Sequoia, Chalet La Grange. Each chalet benefits from its own private spa facilities and the chalets are all connected underground to the hotel for ease of getting from one to another.
Prices are for exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests on a fully catered basis, use of the connecting Hotel La Mourra's facilities, spa and driver shuttle service.
Chalet Ambre is part of La Mourra Hotel Village, located in the Old Town of Val d'Isère on the Avenue du Prariond, just a few minutes walk to the many shops, bars and restaurants.
The chalet sits just a 250m from the snow front where you will find the main ski lifts, Solaise and Bellevarde and the ski school meeting point. The walk to the lifts is around an 8-10 minute walk away, but you can also use the driver shuttle service which can shorten this to under 2 minutes!

A butler is on hand to deliver your breakfast service in the chalet every day from around 7:30am to 11am. This butler then returns with a chef, specialising in French cooking, who will deliver your in-chalet meal service from approximately 6pm to 11pm. Starters, mains and desserts will be ordered off a chosen menu, 24 hours in advance, in order to provide the freshest ingredients for your delicious evening meals. The team are attentive to each guest, adapting to any dietary requirements. A room service menu is also available 24/7.

Their physiotherapists also offer a menu including sports massages.
