The Property
Chalet Les Terrasses in Val d'Isère is a luxury chalet opposite the slopes, within the Le Fornet area of resort. Accommodating up to 15 guests across 7 en-suite bedrooms, and complete with a sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi, and gym, Chalet Les Terrasses is ideal for groups of friends and families looking to explore the Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area.
Paying homage to its alpine refuge heritage, the chalet is built using noble materials of wood and stone. On the chalet's first floor, you are greeted by an open-plan living area, combining an intimate lounge space, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. A comfortable sofa invites guests to rest their legs after a long day on the slopes. South-facing windows frame the valley for guests as they enjoy a family-style meal in the dining area. A cosy fireplace will defrost you as you share stories of your adventures of the day. On the second floor, a second open-plan living and dining space awaits guests with yet another fully fitted kitchen. Both living spaces are designed with convivial living in mind, making your stay in Chalet Les Terrasses that much more leisurely and memorable. Vast terrace or balcony spaces are available on each floor for guests to take a moment of fresh alpine air, and enjoy a more intimate perspective of the mountain scenery.
Chalet Les Terrasses' wellness facilities are designed to rejuvenate guests during their stay and keep you in top form for whatever the mountain has in store for you. A sauna will flush out any fatigue, while the outdoor Jacuzzi entices you to unwind in its bubbling waters. For deeper muscle therapy or simply to keep up with fitness routines, a chalet gym is on hand.
The chalet can accommodate 15 guests across 7 en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms fall in line with the design of the chalet, making use of noble materials and comfortable bedding to ensure ample rest. All the bedrooms are complete with en-suite shower rooms, with the master en-suite also featuring a bathtub. There are five double bedrooms split across the first and second floors. On the third floor, you'll find a master bedroom with balcony access, in addition to a family suite, complete with a double bed and two single beds.
For added convenience, garage parking for 2 cars is available. A ski room with boot warmers is also available.
On request, it is possible to book the chalet as two individual apartments, sleeping 9 and 6 guests respectively. Please enquire for more details. There is also an optional 50m² staff apartment located on the ground floor, sleeping 2-4, ideal for anyone travelling with private staff.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the apartment for up to 15 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping.

Location
Chalet Les Terrasses sits in a coveted location in the Le Fornet area of Val d'Isère, close to the slopes.
Conveniently, the chalet sits across the road from the Fornet cable car, which will take you up to the high-altitude slopes on the Pisaillas Glacier. You can reach the cable car via an underground passageway from the chalet. It takes less than a minute to get to the lift, giving you access to the Tignes-Val d'Isère ski area. There is also a bus stop here, where you can hop on the free bus to the main snow front in about 7-minutes.
While there are a select few bars and restaurants within Le Fornet, the vast majority of options, including luxury boutiques and stylish cafés, can be found in the centre of Val d'Isère, a 6-minute drive away.
