The Property
Grand Choucas is a modern chalet-apartment in an unbeatable central location in Val d'Isère. Sleeping between 5 and 8 guests across its 3 bedrooms, this contemporary second floor apartment sits in a property just off the high street, providing you with a bit of seclusion while also having everything you need at the centre of resort close to hand.
The central open-plan living space of Grand Choucas typifies modern Alpine chic. The wooden floors, beams and stone fireplace of the living room illustrate the classic mountain chalet motif in a space that still feels fresh and contemporary. Plush red seating surrounds the warmth of the ethanol fireplace. In the evening, the large wooden dining table will comfortably seat the whole group, to enjoy the 3-course meal prepared by your chalet team. Tall windows open out onto the balcony where picturesque mountain peaks make up the skyline, a great space to enjoy some fresh mountain air on warmer days.
In total, Grand Choucas can sleep up to 8 guests across three bedrooms. There is one double bedroom with an en-suite offering a bath and shower. To the other side of the main living space, there is an en-suite twin room with balcony access. The last room is a twin room which has a separate shower room off the hallway. If you have two little people with you who would be happy in bunk beds, then there is an alcove off the hall with a bunk. These guests would share the shower room with the second twin.
For convenience, the chalet has a ski boot room and heated boot warmers.
Prices are per person and includes full chalet catering and complimentary shared coach transfers for Geneva airport (set times apply). Whole chalet bookings only. Child and smaller group discounts will apply.
Please note, that guests staying in the bunk beds will be charged half the per-person price.
Location
Grand Choucas benefits from a secluded central location, off the high street and in the very centre of Val d'Isère. The chalet-apartment is only a five minute walk from the Solaise and Bellevarde ski lifts, nursery slopes and ski school meeting point.
For guests staying in Grand Choucas, the pre-booked ski hire equipment shop is just a 5 minute walk from the chalet.
Room Layout
1 x Double bedroom with the space for an extra single bed on request and en-suite bathroom with shower. (Room 1)
1 x Twin bedroom with separate shower off the hallway. (Room 2)
1 x Double/Twin bedroom with balcony access and en-suite bathroom with shower. (Room 3)
1 x Children's Alcove with bunk bed (sleeps 2) and shares the shower room with Room 2.
Please note: Room 2 and the children's bunks also share use of a separate WC.
