The Property

Casa Tra Cime, is a wonderfully converted farmhouse, originally constructed in 1870. This luxury ski chalet in the Dolomites offers groups of up to 10 guests a perfect alpine retreat, filled with authentic charm and home comfort. Translating to "house between the peaks", Casa Tra Cime lives up to its title as a tranquil escape in a quiet hamlet high up in the mountains, a short car journey from Arabba ski resort.

A restored farmhouse perched on the sloping mountain side, Casa Tra Cime offers guests four floors and an incredible 720m² of space to call their home for the week. Original stonework and weathered wooden interiors enchant in a chalet that typifies Alpine tradition.

A spacious double-height lounge features plush sofas that blend seamlessly in with the authentic wooden furnishings and classic stone fireplace. Across a vast central hallway, you will find the chalet's kitchen and dining area. A sleek, black kitchen comes fully-equipped with everything you could need for a self catered holiday in the Dolomites, with a large rustic wooden dining table the setting to indulge on your home-cooked meals. A real highlight of Casa Tra Cime's location is the stellar mountain views. Whether from one of several balconies across the chalet, or enjoyed from the sloping south-facing garden, the chalet affords some remarkable panoramas from the Sella massif across the Civetta mountains and the Marmolada glacier.

In the main living space, guests of the chalet can enjoy a movie night in the sumptuous TV lounge. There are various other spots for relaxation, whether for quiet moments of contemplation or a snug to curl up with a good book. This includes a mezzanine above the main lounge space and armchairs by windows in the central halls, where picture-perfect snowy views can be admired.

Casa Tra Cime features four double bedrooms, with two connecting single bedrooms to two of them, offering the capacity to sleep up to 10 guests in total. The bedrooms are sizeable, featuring traditional wood-panelled interiors that foster the essential ski chalet ambience. Two of the bedrooms feature "stubes", conventional stove ovens used to heat the rooms that are common in some alpine regions. Two bedrooms come complete with an en-suite shower room, with the two double bedrooms with connecting single rooms and stubes both sharing a luxurious bathroom with separate shower and his and hers sinks. For more bedroom options, there is also a children's quad bunk room, with a beautifully designed bunk beds, allowing a good variety of options of sleeping arrangements, especially for those luxury family ski holidays in Italy.

The lowest level of Casa Tra Cime is its cellar, which contains its original stone walls and ceilings. As well as a wine cave, the cellar is also home to the chalet's spacious ski room, which comes with boot warmers. Outside the chalet, roughly 20m before reaching the house, there are 2 parking spaces available for guests with cars.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self catered basis only. End of stay cleaning is charged in addition at a fee of €300. Discounted rates apply for groups of 6 or less.
